70's....Staubach was amazing, and underrated today!

20 straight winning seasons and five Super Bowl appearances with two wins!

Seems so long ago.

if it means memories...then the 70's for sure.

not only cowboys but everything was cool in the 70's.

movies, cars, women, music....it was all good..

as far as memories of the nfl in general....that is gone and will never come back.

we have a dictator as a commish who needs to be romoved asap.

rule changes, free agency, commercials after every damn change of posession, greed, etc..ect has really ruined this game.

David Bowie song....:D

I would say the 70's
5 SB appearances, NFL really starting to ramp up. Cowboys in spotlight more so than other teams.

1960s for the NFL when the league came into its own.
The Raiders, Chargers, Dallas Cowboys et al injectected so much new energy and glamour to the league.

The Jimma Johnson era of the Cowboys.
The team was on its knees with an intransigent coach with out-dated ideas to regain glory. Jimma came along and shook up the franchise. Glory years.
