Here is the problem with Crosby from a roster perspective. Last time we were looking at him we didn't have Gary, Lawrence or Miller. How could we possibly have signed Miller just a couple weeks ago if we knew we were still poking around at Crosby? I just don't see any way Max is coming here any time soon. He would play what, like 80-90% of the snaps here? So that leaves EZ, Gary, Lawrence and Miller all fighting for the other Edge spot and the scraps left when he is on the sideline? It just makes zero sense. Plus, even though it is total BS to act as if they can't sign both, I'm not sure this team would pay Crosby and Pickens both on top of everything else. If Max is coming here it will be more like a trade deadline or next year deal. I'm just not sure it is on their radar unless Lawrence looks like a bust. Plus if we give up a 1st for him next year we are left with just a 2nd rounder, a 4th rounder and nothing else before the 6th round.
Gonzalez or Porter Jr or someone similar? Much better roster fits IMO. Even if Revel ends up good and Bland bounces back you could still play all 3 most of the game. Plus these are guys whose teams may be looking to unload and get value back...
