I've been pretty amused by the bounces we've gotten this year, as opposed to last year. Who can forget the ball bouncing off the back of Witten's foot, being caught by Kenny Phillips who ran it in for a touchdown.

And that's just one example.

Then we have the Rams game where Elam lays a hit on Cadillac, who fumbled right on the sideline and yet somehow the ball miraculously managed to stay in bounds. Not just that, but he also manages to reestablish himself before picking it up.

Last year, you just KNOW that ball would have bounced out of bounds, or he would have been ruled as not being established in bounds by a pinkie toe.

It seems like we've gotten some good breaks this year that we weren't getting last year, and frankly, it's about damn time. Sure, we're just getting back to 500, but if this keeps up, we could certainly do some damage.

Couldn't agree more.. the amount of tipped interceptions last year was incredible.. the Witten one left me speechless.

Yeah, what a lazy attempt by Witten. Yes, I know it was thrown behind him....

We typically get a million bad bounces and have bad luck etc. I think that tide is starting to turn though and we are getting the good bounces now.

At least that Witten play was not ruled a TD because the refs blew the play dead.

Karma is a %#$7. Has Jerreh finally balanced that bad karma back to even?

OK I agree that last year's start was a fricken abomination of bad bounces, but it's not like everything's bounced our way this year.

Plenty have gone the other way. Perfect example is Romo's 2nd INT against Detroit. That pass gets thrown a 100 times into tight coverage like that and falls incomplete 80 times. Maybe it gets it gets picked off 20 times, but on most of those the DB doesn't get it clean and the WR makes a tackle or at least holds him up. Perhaps once or twice the DB secures it quick enough to get a chance for a return.

We're not geting every bounce, just getting our fair share.

You make your own luck.

When you prepare like ****, play half-hearted and pay zero attention to the details you're going to be unlucky.

When you prepare sufficiently, bust your *** every down and finish plays you're probably gonna come out on the other end.

The hit Elam laid on Cadillac would not have happened last year. The safety would have just escorted him out of bounds.
