Cowboys were on pace to shatter the team sack record and come close to the 85 Bears’ record. Now the Eagles have surpassed Dallas and is creating more distance. 55 to 49. Not sure if that includes today’s game, which would give them another 5+ distance.

We’ve had one sack the past two games. The entire defense is falling apart. It’s a shell of what it was earlier in the season. Go look at all the points/TDs we’ve given up compared to earlier in the season. Safe to say the love affair many were having with DQ is over.

Teams are exploiting the stunts by running up the gut and that’s really all Quinn had. He’s stopped moving Micah around. He’s stopped sending the safeties. He’s sticking to the same man scheme almost exclusively. The injuries have hurt, but the defense has not adapted at all the how teams are playing them now (quicker passes, misdirection, etc.) and that’s on Quinn.

:hammer:

Poor DTs are the main reason, protection can slide outside easily with no fear of getting beat inside

They're trying to play better run defense.
- They backed off of stunting after giving up 207 and 240 rushing yards to the Packers and Bears.

Didn’t they give up 190 today?

Also, teams could only run because the CBs were playing like glue and the pass rush was insane. Now QBs have all day to throw and WRs are breaking ankles. Why even run?

People can say what they want about AB but he could at least cover for a few seconds and allow the pass rush to get home. I don't think it's a coincidence that since his injury our pass rush has been nullified by quick passing attack. I know some of it has to do with other injuries and our D line not being as aggressive as they focus on containing the run over getting to the qb, but ABs absence is part of it IMO.

Teams have figured out Quinn's D.
Last year they figured out Kellen's O,

Now they figured out Quinn's D.

Can he do something about it?
We'll see.

I think defenses have figured us out. Double Micah….. help on his side at times and take your chances elsewhere.

teams have also been getting rid of the ball quick and using a lot of misdirection In the run game against us.

They’d rather pick on our run d and young secondary then sit back in the pocket.

which suprises me Quinn doesn’t do more with parsons. He just leaves him on one side all game. And he got a sack earlier lined up over the guard

Have you taken into consideration the mounting injures to key players on that side of the ball? Even ones still on the field? It's been evident that Parsons hasn't been operating at full-speed for most of the past month. DQ is shuffling whoever is left standing; I disagree that there's been some sudden downturn in coaching finesse. The NFL is a war of attrition every, single year. The healthier teams are the ones that tend to be hanging around.

teams have figured the cowboys pass rush out. The problem is we are not adjusting.

I don't care about the sack lead, I care about Ws and Ls. Although there is a cause/effect thing there.

If you look over some of my posts I have considered the injuries. It’s clearly been a factor, however players aren’t stepping up. The only thing I said about DQ is some of the fans will start hating on him. I didn’t say anything about there being a downturn in coaching finesse.
