I think it's simple: why blow wads of cash on FA's when we have a nice amount of high picks in a draft that's relatively deep at the positions we're looking to fill?

Because Jerry said Dallas would have a "WOW" player.

I agree. This FA market was pretty thin. Dallas didn't need any of those players at the prices they were going for. Hopefully Jerry keeps going the smart route and doesn't blow his wad moving around in the draft. Stay put, fill the holes and move on.
