Why todays releases are good regardless of what moves we're able to make.

They symbolize moving on. It symbolizes accountability.

Forever we seem to have been held hostage by certain players. And the last two years we've really seen an effort to part ways with them. Roy Williams, Terrell Owens, Greg Ellis, and now Flozell Adams and Ken Hamlin.

Ken Hamlin was our weakest link on defense, and Flozell Adams was our weakest link on offense. Yes above Roy Williams.

Hopefully we can upgrade the roster through the draft and free agency.

Gaither and Atogwe are popular choices to replace Adams and Hamlin.

We've also heard we might start Felix Jones instead of Barber.

These are moves towards making out team more dynamic.

Barber doesn't need to be released right now, but his current role is holding the team back. Hamlin and Adams needed to be released.

I don't see the correlation.

You don't know that we arn't getting Gaither any more than I know we are getting him.
