Hey guys, I don't know why I haven't thought of this before but I am seriously considering purchasing season tickets. Here is the catch.....I live in Maryland. First and foremost if I am going to purchase season tickets I want GREAT seats or shall I say seat since I will likely be traveling alone. Where can I get a GOOD season ticket seat for a good price. I have seen lower level 50 yard line seats for around 3k. I do not have a problem forking over 3k for 50 yardline seats, however, obviously I would like to find them as cheap as possible. Any ideas? 2nd) I am not much of a traveler, does any1 have any idea what type of airline fees I will be looking at for the entire season? Have I officially lost it...or is this not a bad idea? I have never been to texas stadium and have been thinking about doing it the last 2 years and all of a sudden today - I have decided I think season tickets are the way to go....

I travel a lot and can tell you, you can expect to pay between 235.00-300.00 round trip. That's appx obviously and if you book far enough in advance. You will need a hotel room for at least one night and that's gonna run you probab;y another 125.00-175.00 (and maybe more depending on your taste).

If you don't have a shuttle to the game form the hotel, you will need to rent a car and that can be around 50.00 for the weekend.

Oh yeah, you are going to have to eat as well.

You are probably going to spend about 7500.00 to see all the cowboy games this year.

I on the otherhand will spend about 150.00 for the Sunday Ticket, eat in the comfort of my own home and still be at Texas Stadium for the first time on Opening day and that little deal will cost me around 600.00.

Good luck, it sounds like a lot of fun for someone who has the time.

Enjoy!

I say go for it!

I live in the DC area as well, and it costs $250-$300 for a direct flight into Dallas.

I'm hoping to go to Dallas for the Giants game, the Redsk*ns and the Jets. And then hopefully at the Bills and of course the game here in Washington. While games at Texas stadium are fun, it's also fun to catch a couple road games every once in a while as well and see what some other stadiums are like.

What package are you going with - or are you putting it together yourself?

I want to go to a game this year before they move to the new stadium. I saw one package was about $369 for tickets/room/shuttle/tour. Airfare would be $260 for me.

Thats sick.

If you decide to do it though thats is some serious dedication.

I am gonna do what CC plans on doing.

Enjoy, either way.

Hey VA cowboys, I have heard of those packages in the past...where can i find it? Do they offer these packages for the entire season? I would definitely love the purchase a season package as oppossed to weekly....

If you've got the cash, why not? Going to the games is great, even if we lose. It's just a much better experience than watching it on TV.

Drinking by a computer with a credit/debit card in hand can be deadly...trust me :D jk If you have the money and the time...Go for it!

anyone have any idea where I can find some package deals?

www.dallascowboyscorral.com

They seem to have the best packages.

Texas BBQ the day before the game at a Ranch, Autograph sessions with current and former Cowboys, Lower level seats, tour of the stadium, meals.

It's just a good deal. I booked my flight already and it was 235.00 RT from Nashville to DFW.
