Good Job Jerry

Who did you want? We addressed a huge need. A step forward for Jerry. Good job Jerry. He didn't go with a flashy pick, he went with what we needed. More importantly he did not get screwed by New England or Minnesota.

And he didn't trade inside the division helping a divisional foe get better. Question: Do we play Smith at RT to let him get accustomed to the NFL, or train him at LT from jump and move Free back to RT?

Great pick. We got another bookend OT with good athleticism. With Free and Smith, we're set for at least 5 years at OT.

That is the question. One thing I would like to see is add more weight to his frame.

Play him at right tackle. Free did a good job last year at the left. The rules do not say that your first round pick has to be a left tackle.

Jerry FINALLY decided to protect his franchise QB and you're complaining?

I guess the drop down to trade if it came in was not a good as they wanted and pulled the trigger on a sure starter this year.

Even I'm happy with Jerry right this minute. Great pick.

That was the feeling I got as well. Happy with the pick

I love Jerry, and as I have said for years now, Jerry is not making picks all willy nilly on his own, he's going off what his coaches want for their schemes

I love this pick. Most OTs taken high over time have panned out. They are safe picks. It is a huge need. You need partners to trade down and with QBs dropping there was nothing to do.

Well Washington just picked up 100 points in value trading down to 16 and getting the 49th pick.

We could've done that and perhaps selected Costanzo.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! Actually using a top pick on what this team needed for almost ten years, offensive linemen.....now go get another in the second round

I really like this pick and the Cowboys really need a young man 20 years old that can fill a spot that most of us have been complaining about.

Maybe a guard but I don't expect Dallas to draft 3 or 4 OL we have other areas as well

I like this pick, the trenches is what we need to begin to control again----and our OL as a unit sucked big time. This will get Free over to RT. I know it is not a glamorous pick and we certainly are snakebit picking OLmen but I think this will turn out great.

Let's get Huff as FA and #2 pick is best available--CB maybe.
