The "the freak" only had 2 tackles and 0 sacks. His only bad play was the reverse. I think the young man is holding his own. one year with the off- season conditioning program and I think we will have a anchor on the right side.

You need to watch the Bledsoe int again. Kearse ran right by Rob and caused the int.

I hope so. I'd love to not have to worry about RT for ten years.

Wasn't Rob's fault at all. Bledsoe himself took responsibility. They had an overload blitz and someone was gonna come free, it was the QB and TE's responsibility to beat it with the hot read. Witten did his part, Bledsoe didn't. There simply weren't enough blockers for the Eagles blitz.

He was solid. Missed one assignment on the end around. Kearse schooled him on a inside move and Rob whiffed. However, Rob was not a major problem last night imo.

As a Team our run blocking sucked.

We can't expect anymore from a rookie 6th rounder as he has been a pleasant surprise, and anyone saying differently simply doesn't know Football.

Rob did a fantastic Job.

A "little less than perfect", but a great job.

Anchor.

Shutting down the freak doesn't mean as much as it did two years ago.

Forgot to mention that on a couple plays he completely stoned Kearse one on one. Heck of a job for a 6th rounder.

Exactly. Bledsoe needed to change to a 3 step drop and throw the ball to Witten. Even an incompletion would have been better than the interception.

Pettiti did a poor job of blocking on that particular play, but the ball should have been out anyway due to the blitz.

As fast as they were coming after Drew I don't think he was in a position to throw the ball away, I think is only safe bet was to take the sack and hold on to the ball.

I didn't say he was terrible just that he didn't have a great game. I think he's doing a great job for a rookie 6th rd pick.

He had a small window to throw the ball if he recognized it. Once he missed the hot read, he should have just taken the sack. Essentially he made two poor decisions on that play. He made up for it.

Off topic but your comment about Rob "stoning" Kearse reminded me of something funny from sunday.

Im working outside and the only NFL game i can get on radio is Miami game. So i turn it on and first comment i hear, they are talking about Ricky Williams not being much of a factor today and the announcer goes "yeah, and add to that Ricky Williams just got stoned a little while ago".......

I was like, whoa, he got busted smoking before the game or something ? Then i figured out what they were talking about, Funny stuff though.

I don't think Rob was at fault on the reverse play. It looked like he was supposed to let him in, hoping that he would go after the running back.

Kearse just didn't get fooled.
