Good Morning Mr Hatcher;
I met you at training camp in San Antonio a few years ago, with a vip sideline pass for myself and 3 others. Hope you’re doing well and your wife Natasha is doing well, along with your 2 sons. I hope everything is going well with you and your family in Jena, La. And after you retire you get into coaching like you wanted too. I am a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan since 1966 and wanted to ask you a question.

I keep noticing that you’re having trouble with your hamstrings. Back in the early 90's Super RB Emmitt Smith was having same trouble, hamstring issues, which almost threatened to ruin his career early. Didn’t know if you knew that or not.

Anyway, Emmitt Smith hired a personal trainer to help him stretch, keep his hamstrings from bothering him. Why, don’t you get a personal trainer?

Because I remember when you were drafted, you were one of the sleeper picks on a few draft magazines. Which said, A 6-5, 285 pounder with verified 4.8 speed, Hatcher showed great strength at the point of and has the size, arm length, and natural strength thatis in heavy demand in "30" fronts. Can be a 4-3 base end or five technique in a 3-4 defense.

Anyway, you might already have a personal trainer, but if you don’t, maybe you should look into it.

im so confused.

Jason Hatcher has had trouble with his hamstrings, about 3 years ago, was posted here too on this site, that some coach had Hatcher run before he was ready or something like that and he pulled his hamstring badly. Jerry Jones was praising Jason Hatcher before that, and then he was livid when this happened.

This year, Jason Hatcher has been held out of full running exercises etc for awhile, because his hammy was bothering him, reports were, again, was posted on this site.

So, I thought if Jason Hatcher doesnt have a personal trainer to get one, like Emmitt Smith did, and other players do.

Just a thought, if he keeps him from having any more trouble with his hamstrings and Jason Hatcher can become the player we all think he can be. I gave alittle info about him, in case some of you didnt know some things about him, and players always like to know that you know some stuff about them, than just football. I generally know about the players on the cowboys roster anway, their college, size, speed, and some info on them. So, if you get to meet them later at training camp or whatever, you know something about them as a person, not just a football player. .

Like Jimmy Johnson said, treat a player like you think he can become and he will become that person, but treat him the same ole way and he wont change, something like that jimmy said.

Send your idea to Jason Garrett, he will get it done!

lol thats a good one zrinkill,

last year too i did send a special teams play to coach joe d, im not saying he tried it on my idea, but the play was used, and it backfired on us for a loss in kickoff return

but i did send the message personally to jason hatcher

im working on a few more plays on offense to send to jason monday though

and have another idea for jason possibly to help romo out in coverage schemes, this came from something i saw drew peason say once,

and yeah i know jason garrett may never look at it, just throw the message in the trash when he gets it, but i will still do it,you never know,might be a big play we can use;

years ago though, i did get a message from roger staubach back in the mail, and he sent me a black and white photo of roger throwing a pass to calvin hill in a vikings game autographed

Actually, if I remember correctly, Emmitt said his hamstring problem was a hydration issue. He wasn't getting enough water, he was dehydrating during games, and it would cause his hamstrings to lock up. He addressed it during the '94/'95 off-season, and obviously, it solved the problem --as 1995 was the best statistical season of his career.

I'm not saying he didn't also hire a personal trainer to help him stretch.

But hydration was what he himself attested the issue to be.

Drink more, Mr. Hatcher??

could be about the water stuff Poet, i dont know about that, all i know on one of the films emmitt smith talked about his hamstring problem, i think it was in the run to glory video, but that he almost thought about having to retire from football early in his pro career, but he got a personal trainer, and after that, the hamstring issues hardly didnt plague him anymore

i do know he had hamstring issues in college though, missed one season i think due to pulled hamsting, best i remember, but dont quote me on that, but i think he said something like that or was said about his hamstring in college

Don't ever apologize for who you are, Joe. The reference to ankles could be answered by watching the movie "Misery". Keep the Cowboy's stuff coming. You are the ultimate fan and I'm glad you're here.

Only thing i dislike about football. All about size and genetics. I was also too small in high school. They couldn’t do much with a 135 lb WR. Although i did have great hands.

But i love the Cowboys too. I don’t know what it is. Just obsessed with it. Well, all the power to you if you believe you are making contact with the coaching staff or players. Although i did Twitter Coach Phillips about the goal line situation and to stick his nose into the play calling. It’s probably our way of feeling like we are helping. At least in our head.

lol wasnt meant to be buddy, i doubt that coach joe d even had the time to look at my letter message, but i did send it to him, and one of the plays was used, but it backfired on us, was a common play though, that teams rarely use anymore but just didnt work, the wr went to wide on end around on reverse

And as soon as he starts having a good game, he'll take him out.

It's the smart thing to do.

Anyway, he went to Grambling, which is a small minority school about an hour east of me. I used to pass through the town on my drive to Louisiana Tech when I went there. He needs to turn it up because the impression I get is that he's lazy.

Nothing would piss me off more as an owner than to have someone go through the motions and collect a paycheck. I would not tolerate it. I'm surprised Ken Hamlin lasted so long.
