The good news is we were better than the Giants, ... but
beat ourselves.

The bad news is we beat ourselves, which is a reocurring theme.

We can still win the division, the Giants are struggling big time in the red zone which will beat them some games this year.

When McNabb gets back that will help the Iggles, but their defense is ??

We just have to go back to basics, correct our mistakes and get ready for Carolina.

We have no other choice.

I agree. This was a bad loss and a game the team should have won but mistakes cost us. All they can do is go out and get ready for Carolina

Had they had Canty, Cofield, Ross, their nickel CB, Tuck doesnt get hurt etc etc, might have been alot worse for us.

They were missing their best CB, and we sputtered passing the ball.

This team will never win anything as long as Jerry refuses to hire a quality HC or sign/draft a quality QB.

Romo is the best QB we've had since Aikman, but he was an undrafted FA who continues to make the same game killing mistakes. We haven't drafted a decent QB since 1989 in Jerry and Jimmy's first year.

Jerry has hired 5 HC's since Jimmy left and only 1 (Parcells) was decent, but he was on the downside of his career.

Incredible job Jerry, just incredible!

I don't think Canty or Cofield or any of the others make a difference in our defense not being able to make one critical stop. Despite all the mistakes, we had a lead with 2 minutes to go.................Our defense put Manningham and Smith in the pro bowl.

To me we saw last night which organization is better.

by leaps and bounds.

THey have all the things our organization talks about. Consistency, accountability, talent, discipline etc etc...

The better qb plays in NY, The better defense plays in NY, the coaching is miles and miles better in ny and they have a guy calling defensive signals for the first time ever. They are just better at everything than we are.

Hopefully it will motivate this team, but as I type that even an average player motivated is still an average player.

IN 2007 after the opener, we looked like a better team now we look like a team hanging on by a thread. The defensive losses showed all over the places the last two weeks. We lose players and we cant replace them. The giants and eagles lose players and they plug in another one.

I just hope this team can find a way to turn it around. They had the same look to me after the game last night as the ravens game. So I have to wonder if they even come out and compete monday night. I am not even worried about winning, just competing.

I think we are a better team. We have handled them pretty well the past few years. The only game they outplayed us was when ROMO was out. I guarantee they would not want to play us in a do or die game.

I dont think they care, they already played us in one do or die game and won that one too.

They might not have better overall talent, but they are the better team and have by far a better HC.

Give me a break with this. None of these guys make a difference last night. I didn't even hear Tuck's name until he got hurt. Cofield and Canty aren't difference makers and never have been. Missing Ross and their nickel CB made no difference because the way Romo played last night he would have made any CB look good.

If that's the case, you'd think we must have played our best game to lose to them by only two points in the final seconds.

Somehow that didn't look like our best game, though.

And we definitely didn't get the bounces.

I agree they're better run than we are -- I'm not a fan of Jerry's Circus and the two HC system we have -- but the differences must not be that great or else they'd have killed us with all the mistakes we made.

It will be very tough to beat Carolina next week....On paper, they are a good team, and it's very difficult to see them going 0-3. But they'd better.

I agree Wayne. Carolina will be PO'd and motivated: we'll be flat as a pancake and wake up sometime in the 2nd qtr. You just know it. Another national spotlight game: Delhomme sucks but.......................I dunno. We all know what's coming with this team: 7-9 wins. NOT GONNA DO IT>........
