As things stand now we can expect more of the same....mediocre play and results.

The good news is eventually that the man trying to put out fires with a broom will succumb to the fire of low ticket sales and a devalued franchise.

The question is, "How long can you survive the foolishness?"

Survive?

As long as it takes to rid this once great franchise of the Jones Family.

No matter how long.

No matter much I HATE the Jones family.

No matter much I HATE almost all of the players this team had this year, and will hate next year.

I will still be here,

I will still be waiting unpatiently for mini camps, draft, training camps, opening day. etc.

I can survive, as I know many others will too.

Because, we are Dallas Cowboys fans. We will accept no substitute.

Do you really hate most of the players?

The only way for this franchise to improve is for Jones to quickly follow the path of Al Davis. Maybe after the pompass *** kicks the buckett, then the Jones family may fight for control and eventually sell the team to real football men. Until that happens, the stupidity and idiocy will continue to manifest itself at Valley Ranch. Sad to see this once great franchise reduced to rubble, but time eventually heals the destruction. We seem to be patterning ourselves after the Raiders.

Maybe "most" is a bit much. A good percentage? 85%? yes

I hate the way they have attempted to play. How's that?

As people, fathers, brothers? Nope. Surely don't.

I do hate the Jones family and just how far that family has taken my favorite sports team down the crapper..

Players I like.

Witten,Robinson, Phillips, Murray, Bryant, Holley, Smith.

Ware (sometimes), Lee, after that, I got nothing.

Keep the Bailey kid too.

If you really do feel like that, then you should probably seriously consider finding another team. And this isn't one if those, "we don't like you and if you hate them so much, then go away." things. I'm really suggesting you find another team. The Jones family is not going away.

Thanks, but, no thanks, I will stay put.

Good, I can feel your anger!

It's actually not that easy. This team has OK talent and with that, they'll always be 8-8 to 9-7 to even 10-6 at best. But they won't have the great talent needed to actually be a legit contender in the playoffs. We're just an OK team and OK will sell tickets and keep people excited and optimistic about the team, which is what Jerry wants. We'll never hit rock bottom.

I agree. Many of the people I know ask me how can I take it anymore after our most recent embarrassment. All I can say is time heals all wounds, although that blocked field goal, penalty on Columbo, and the immediately following winning FG by the Commanders will need more time. Someone recently reminded me of Romo throwing that pick 6 to Carp, and that too will need more time, as will the Sean Peyton beatdown of the Parcells led Cowboys in New Orleans.

But, we always have the future, and the Cowboys taking an OL in the 1st round last year has given me new hope that football people are going to be making many of the important decisions at Valley Ranch from now on, and we will field a playoff team in the next two years.

Me too I just hate it when our fans get delusional about how good our coaching and players are when they are proven too be a dumb team.

Very true. Then I suppose it's possible Jerry could move the team to LA, the limelight there would certainly suit his ego. Maybe then the NFL would grant us a real franchise.

It could be worse though, we could have a Dan Snyder. Might be best to stick with the devil we know.

I can't speak for him but finding another team is not an option for me. I can't just up and make my heart love another team, they're my home team I grew up with, they are a part of me, I care even when I don't want to care.

This is an extreme analogy, but if I had a daughter and she was kidnapped by a psychopath who never released her but taunted me by continually showing me he had control over her and I would never get her back, I would hate that man with every fiber of my soul but I would never stop loving my daughter.

That's the way it is for me and the Cowboys and I think its the same way with some of the fans who are so frustrated and angry. We can't stop loving the Cowboys, they're like family.

There was a big difference between this year and previous years.

This year we were mediocre with young players playing major roles. We found a few real gems as well. In other years we were mediocre with overpaid vets paying major roles.

Overpaid vets have about zero chance of getting better. Young players have a better than zero chance of getting better.
