He says the Valley Ranch vultures were in the locker room today, and the question everyone had was "Should you have run the ball more?"

He says that unlike after the Denver game, when Crayton said "We have five freaks of nature wanting to run the ball, so I don't know why you wouldn't listen to them", today it was a very unified front where no one complained and it was actually very boring.

He says he also detected a quietly pissed off and determined group of players out there -- again, much better than earlier in the year.

Thought that was some good news.

Time will tell. I just wish those "five freaks of nature" ( well, four now ) were a little better as a group at blocking for Romo and the RBs.

yep did you hear where he said the running backs when mickey reported that they were demanding to run the ball more;

I would love to pound the ball , but the skins have been giving up big plays in the secondary lately. We need to test them. Ialso want to see Felix Jones get going. I thought he would be a part of the gameplan in phiily and he was invisible against green bay. We need his fresh legs and big play ability down the strecth.

It is good that they didn't bite, but that doesn't do much to change the mindset that Garrett has. His perception is what has to change. The players will work with what is called.

I'd like to see them play a very angry game on Sunday. The Commanders will bring it this week, The Cowboys must exceed their intensity and be ready to go from the opening kickoff.

I think some people are overlooking this;
When Jimmy Johnson was here, where was the offensive coordinator; up in the press box viewing the whole field, Norv Turner nad Zampasse was too.

To me, Jason Garrett is still to inexperienced against top defensive gurus like Don Capers was, and Jimmy Johnson was with eagles. What we need I think is an experienced offensive guru in the booth helping Wade Wilson & John Garrett in the press box.

So, in retrorespect, a coach like Jon Gruden or Dan Reeves is needed as an offensive consultant to help out with plays and what he sees defenses doing.

In time Jason Garrett, John Garrett can get there, but takes experience like with anything. Just like in 90's experienced ernie zampasse outmastered jimmy johnson.
