I was bored, so I checked out a couple of Viking message boards to see what the enemy camp was up to and over 90% of the threads were about how bad they were going to lose or who the next head coach was going to be or who sucks worse between Ponder or Freeman or how many more loses to clinch the number one overall pick..................ect.....

Not that this really means anything, just an interesting observation.

They obviously don't know what Dallas is capable of. With that said, I think Minn loses too :)

More often than not these last 20 years, the Cowboys find a way to lose to teams they should absolutely crush, ala A & M and UTEP tonight. The winless Rams several years ago, ditto for the Bills in the late '90s, etc. Will we be able to stop Peterson for 4 quarters? I'm not so sure. Will Jared Allen knock Romo out of the game? Will Romo throw the game away at the end? I hope the answers are Yes, No and NO, but I have zero confidence in this team to win against even the poorest of teams...

This is a huge myth among Cowboys fans considering the stat of Cowboys vs less than .500 teams being like 16-1 under Garrett.

...As I have said many times. We have a way of making the opposing teams and their fans' wildest fantasies come true. Dream the improbable (see last week, Detroit), and we will do what we can to make it happen.

PFT has a source telling them that Freeman will be inactive. That will leave Ponder and Cassel. No wonder they think they are going to lose - Romo against Ponder and Cassel.

One of the problems with being a fan, is that it screws with our emotions too much. I'm trying to remember the last time we lost to a truly bad team, like this years Minnesota team. We've played some below average/bad teams this year, and beaten them all. We've had some close calls in recent years (Cle, Tampa, Miami), that we're a lot closer than they should have been, but we still managed to win. Sure, we live in an "Any given Sunday" world, so anything could happen. But if we do lose today, it'll be an absolute fluke.

Vikings lost to an abysmal Giants team. It will be a miracle for them to win in Dallas. They are smart I guess. :)
