Not a bad night for Dallas area sports news.

• Mavs win at San Antonio to tie the series at 1-1.
• Stars beat Anaheim to tie series at 2-2.
• Rangers sweep A's to take the division lead
• NFL schedule comes out...

Anyway, a lot of fun all around for Dallas sports fans

Great night for sports in the dfdub.

I used to be a huge Stars fan prior to the strike in the early 2000s, but they kind of faded for me because of the long break and the changes on the team/around the league. It's good to see the resurgence from them. It's cool to hear the former stars like Modano doing their best to promote the sport here on the radio-- also it's cool that he's settled here and has his beer out now. Had it over in Trinity Groves last week... not bad!

Anyway, they are probably the most exciting team in the area. Everything is 'feel good' with them right now.

Great night for he DFW. Glad hockey is becoming more popular in the area, the hardcore fans are great and crazy loud in the AAC. I haven't watched since I was a kid and they were winning stanley cups and stuff but I started watching some games this year. They're a fun team to watch and so young.

It was probably the best sports night we've had in a couple years right? With two teams being in the playoffs especially. Another team taking the AL West lead.
