I can't decide. Kid didn't seem too traumatized.

Freakin' hilarious! I would totally do that with my kids. You gotta keep it fun and kids love that kinda stuff, especially little boys. It was probably the kids idea, the parent just turned his imagination into reality.

Hmm....................

pull tooth out with plier? (Lame)

or

Pull tooth out with a rocket. (AWESOME!)

if you gotta pull it out, go for the rocket

Uhhh??? If your parents were having to pull out your baby teeth with PLIERS, there's a REAL good chance they weren't quite ready to come out!

That, or you're from Arkansas!

Biting into a rock-hard apple or pear should have done the trick.

Yes, but see...
First of all, that's no fun.
Secondly, That would hurt like heck.
Lastly, who buys rock-hard pears? The soft ones are the way to go. :D

I don't think it was the kids idea. He seemed kind of clueless as to what was going to truly happen.

Well, maybe you're right. But, I doubt it hurt any. I think it scared him more than it hurt him.

How do you figure that!? In the 1st 30 secs of the video, he calmly explains exactly what's about to happen, and he's the 1 who presses the dang button!

Did ya SEE the kid's smile!? It's CLEARLY not the first baby-tooth he's had extracted!

He was saying words, but I don't think he understood what he was saying. Seemed coached to me.

Good parenting in Gary. Bad parenting in Boulder.
