What website do you read for regular news? I've previously used cnn and usatoday but both have become jumbled messes to me. Looking for something with a nice site design, and preferably not too far to the left or right. Free as opposed to paid content as well. Ideas?

I read several daily.

Washington Post, NY Times, Boston Globe, Charlotte Observer, Miami Herald, and LA Times.

I even look at Google news and Yahoo news for other stories.

Just depends on what you are looking for I guess.

I only read WSJ, Bloomberg and AP for news. But I get most of my news from reddit.

A news aggregator site might be your best option.

You will soon find what news sources you like after viewing enough links to various news sites.

Reddit
Fark
Google News

I use Drudgereport.com

It may be ugly, but has all the headlines I need/want. This question also depends what party you are affiliated with because most tend to be very opinionated

Google News for the variety of what's out there from the US, BBC America, and Al Jazeera.

Drudge here as well.

After that, WSJ & Fox News.

Kinda depends on what kind of news you are looking for. I like RCP but there are other sites as well. I get a lot of news from right here.

:)

Reuters is the best IMO. It's just news. No opinions. They also break things before everyone else so you're usually ahead of the pack.

It is rare to find a news source that is not pushing an agenda.

I could be wrong and if I am Reuters is very good at hiding theirs.

Thanks for the feedback, some good suggestions that I'll be trying out in the rotation.

I think they do a good job of keeping things honest. I don't know if they have an agenda. That is a good thing.

Google's news aggregator. news.google.com. It makes it so I don't have to hunt bunches of websites to find news stories. Sort of like the way CBZ is a Cowboys news aggregator.
