Good thing we are practicing the Raiders

That's a good point that I haven't thought about. It's got to be a little shock to their system when they face a DL with talent.

It makes their performance in the opener all the more impressive.

Claiborne just reeks of false bravado thus far.

I agree, but if he can at least bring the wood this season, he will earn himself a lot more respect. His knock has ben his toughness. That would be the easiest way to remedy it.

I guess you can view it negatively. That is your prerogative. But I'm going to see it as Claiborne trying to show more heart and intensity.

He has the talent....

I guess all the fighting with Terrence Mitchell was just "heart"?

He doesn't believe it. He's trying to sell himself on it as much as he's trying to sell everyone else.

Not surprising. Not only is Mack the first pass rusher Tyron has seen all camp, defense usually gets the better of those drills. It's hard to defense "space" as an offensive lineman. That said, it was 5 seconds to QB contact.

Yeah, over 4 seconds before he broke free from Smith....I guess that is how good Smith is now....people get excited about only getting blocked for 4 seconds.

mack did pretty good vs Tyron

idk if that would of been a sack. alot of space for the Dline to work gives them the advantage. In a game like situation tyron can ride him around the qb or ride him back inside. This drill teaches you to just stay infront of him no matter what. Good drill though.

Well its nice to see the cowboys not getting totally pushed around like normal. At least they are finally showing some fight.

Is this happening as we speak? Wanted to read a recap on the joint practices, etc.

Again, you see it how you want. I prefer to have a little hope.
