That may be closer to the truth than anyone really knows.

I think this was Jerry's signing and Parcells is doing what he always does when Jerry tries to impose his will on the team (ie; Henson).

Shame really.

You know what, if one of our WR's goes down then you'll be happy he's here. Same thing at RB with A-Train. It's called insurance and it's a luxory to have the extra cap money to spend.

I have no problem with the signing other than we ignored FS and still have money to spend (yet haven't).

If one of the other WRs goes down, he gets more playing time but for the love of god put the man in the games now and see what he can do. Hell, if this is how they wanna operate, I'm available as a WR. I will gladly collect that fat salary and do absolutely nothing. Where do I sign up?

What do you care what they got him for? He's no freaking magic pill, I'm sorry but how stupid can you be? What difference is he gonna make anyway, the problem isn't that the receivers can't get open!

Who are you talking to? Yeah what difference does anything make. Let's just continue playing like we have and flush the rest of the season down the toilet. We don't need to make any changes, it's all good. Friggin' idiots.

After the first 4 games, it certainly makes one wonder why the Cowboys signed either A-train or Price. Price's introduction was understandably slow, but he should be in the gameplan by now. A-train doesn't play ST's so that may hurt him, but if he's your short-yardage back he needs to be active and if his inability to play ST's is the reason for his being de-activated then he shouldn't have been signed in the first place.

If this is true (and I'm not convinced it is) then this partnership should be dissolved. I know Jerry Jones must be overbearing at times, but if Parcells is holding back players just to spite him (a thought which must have the Henson-backers foaming at the mouth) then Parcells isn't the right coach for this team.

Bob Sturm was just saying the same thing. He says someone in the organization told him that Parcells makes 99% of the decisions, but every once in a while he lets Jerry play fantasy football and sign a guy, like Eddie George last year. And who are the only two guys that happened with this year? Anthony Thomas and Peerless Price, of course.

So the question then is, why does Parcells refuse to play these guys? If they were horrible, you might see it. But these are two pretty solid vet players who might help us. Is it just ego?
