There is a disclaimer in the title you clearly ignored. With that said, to answer your question, the run game featuring Elliott/Morris with the threat of the Dak-keeper is going to make the defense look better than what they actually are. The Cowboys are going to have an unstoppable run-game which will open up an unstoppable pass-game with a premier #1 in Dez and the reliable route-running and hands of Witten and Beasley, teams are going to have a hard time keeping up...but I already know that you will have to see it to believe it.
I like the Cowboys being unstoppable

That is a good watch.

It's not the same comparison and I don't expect the same results but Marino took his team to the SB as a rookie. I did not think we were a SB team this season with a healthy Romo so nothing has really changed and the offense should be a good one and the defense will be average.

Whatever we lose with Romo's experience, we gain with Dak's stronger arm and athleticism, The crucial part of his game will be reading the defenses and making the audibles. These DCs will throw some kinky stuff at him and try to play him as they used to do to Romo. Dak is surrounded by one of the best offensive teams in the league and they will help him, as will Romo.
Marino became the starter his rookie season, but Miami didn't advance to the Superbowl. Seattle beat them in the playoffs. Miami went in '84., Marino's second season.

Sort of the same as with Russell Wilson in 2012. Dak holds promise for sure, but I'm not betting anything on the lad until I see him handle some live defenses over multiple games. Maybe Romo won't be out long enough for DCoord's to adjust against what one hopes to be an initial barrage against the competition. The thing that holds this team back, even if Prescott turns out to be all-world, is the defense...as usual.

I'm ready! It's too damn early not to be regardless!

It's not like Romo is out for the year either. Had we not got Dak however I would be down in the dumps!

Interesting how things have happened for Dak:
1. You get drafted by your favorite team, Dallas Cowboys.
2. Moore gets injured, bumped up to backup QB and more snaps for him.
3. Third preseason game, Romo goes down on the 3rd play so Dak gets playing with the 1s and against the 1s.
Really all he has to do is just manage the game, remember he has some good talent around him, he has legs/speed, and there is nothing wrong with punting.

Unless you like scoring.

Horrible comparison, based on accuracy alone they live on different planets.
I believe the comparison came from Dak's early years and the fact he is known as a leader. He improved greatly between his Redshirt sophomore year to his junior year passing the ball. Better statistically his senior year.

Some outlets saw it too. 1 had him as a 2-3rd. The DUI hurt him as well.

If there was ever a perfect situation for a rookie QB, it's in Dallas right now. Dak has all the physical tools to be successful in this offense. He's also got the respect of the players. All he has to do is limit his mistakes. He also adds a dimension we haven't seen in Dallas in many many years. He can run and teams will have to account for that. Coaching is going to be very important here. You can't just turn Dak loose, but you can't tie his hands behind his back either. Design plays to his strength. His running ability will open up other options. Dak has a very good offensive team around him with lots of experience. They'll help immensely. Winston, Mariota and Wilson would have killed for an offense like this their rookie years. Dak will be fine.....

Perfect situation is what Russel Wilson had.... An elite D that held teams to less than two scores most games, a dominant Oline and the toughest rb in the league. All he had to do was be a game manager and he would win most of the time.

Hopefully our D with little to no pass rush will not be a floodgate of points against, or it'll be way too much pressure for a rookie qb to keep up with.
