Good win, but!

Dak doesn't look right. He's got great potential but I feel he's not being used right. He doesn't seem comfortable in the pocket and is not throwing enough on first down to take the pressure off.

They were way to predictable the 1st half. I know we’ve heard that all year. The 2nd & long runs were just brutal....

Just thankful for a win, but I'm still concerned like you. Something is off when your RB had more yards than your QB.

First quarter and box score don’t paint the brightest picture, but if you watched the game and don’t think he bounced back, swollen hand and all... well we were told no more profanity.

His greatest flaws. Needs to work on both in the offseason.

Dak also needs to get in sync with Dez. That TD he threw to Dez today was perfect. Romo and Dez had that chemistry.

I’m disappointed in Dak, actually, because I thought Dez and Dak had worked together in the off-season and that Dak understood where to put those throws when Dez is one-on-one for him to go up and get it. He did it tonight, so hopefully it’s the start of something...

But yet when we needed a TD he went 8-8 with a TD........ Guys are way too hard on a guy that is a year and a half into his career. He isn't a finish product yet but it's a gamer and put us in position to win this game
That was Cousins who went 8-8 on a TD drive... I don't know that Dak even completed 3 straight passes.

It’s no secret, he’s going to need to produce more for this team to be a consistent winner. Morris won’t have these nights every week. The play calling during the most of the 1st half was questionable. The consecutive 2nd down runs were just maddening.

Every game is must win.

Dak 11 of 22 for 102 yards. Wash had more yards. Difference was 4 times sacked and 4 turnover for Wash.

The Dak i love is the 000000 turnover Dak....I can live with the 100 yards 2 TD with 0 turnovers and a good running game every week....I'll take it.

No difference was Washington got away from the run game. We didn't need to throw cause we played our game. Dak was perfect when he needed to be

Washington didn't get away from their run game...Dallas took it away from them. Less than 3 yards per carry.

I won’t compare Dak to Aikman, but saying Dak needs a good team and playmakers around him isn’t a bad thing to me. Troy never took the Cowboys on his back; he wasn’t capable. He struggled early and late in his career because he needed Irvin and Emmitt. He wasn’t a Favre type, but he was a leader and a winner. I see the same in Dak. He’s a leader and a winner. The Cowboys need to surround him with playmakers and let him lead and win.

Difference is Aikman played (mostly) during the non salary cap era. Does Dak view himself as just a game manager? It matters because once his rookie deal is up , he may want a 100 million dollar contract. The team would be beyond idiotic if they hand a player that "can't carry the team on his shoulders" that kind of money. Also, if you "surround Dak with playmakers" , prepare to be a mediocre franchise at best.

People need to understand that the 90's are over and we are in the salary cap era. This is why as a Cowboys fan, I get frustrated when people blame defense for losses. We are built to win with offense. All the pieces are there...all but a competent QB. If we had a good QB, that would at least keep defenses honest, we could be an elite, historic offense with Zeke and that Oline....

That receipe only works when you have a lead.
There will be at least 3 games a season where by pure odds, we will be Trailing or facing an elite QB. 101 yards won't cut it.

He had some good throws tonight, but he's a game manager. We also seem to own the Commanders lately, and them being pretty beat up didn't help them.

For us to win with Dak, we'll need an absolutely complete team on both sides of the ball with pressure taken off of him. He's not going to be a QB that elevates the players around him.

In this league, you do not win consistently with a QB throwing for a little over 100 yards.

missed the game on my long drive.
heard a couple rookies played well so that is good.
draft slot got worse so that is bad...
hope dak's hand is ok.
hopefully it is not a long term thing.

Dak didn’t do anything to change the game. The D, Oline and special teams won the game. Dak still looks like **** and his 103 yards passing were crap. He still sucks on 3rd and over 6 yards.
