Good Win

No offense, but I really hate it when people say every win is a good win without putting anything into context. It’s so stupid. It’s like saying all pancakes are good pancakes, so I’m going to eat these ones here that are laced with cyanide.

Aye! As a professional, player or coach, I would expect nothing less than their best effort every time out. Winning today should give those guys some degree of satisfaction, because winning at any game at that level is so hard. So yeah, I don't begrudge those guys that.

As a fan, I tend to big-picture this sort of thing. The utility from today is so temporary and hollow, at least to me. Our resume reads 9-7 in 2017, but it doesn't feel much like a winning campaign. I suppose today was positive from a cosmetic standpoint. Come April, today's outcome feels more like a loss.

Good post.

I don't understand all the negativity. The Cowboys barely beat a bunch of scrubs, true, and the offense looked horrible.

But what if the Cowboys lost or even got blown out by these scrubs? That wouldn't have made me feel any better.
the other reason

This was a meaningless there was no moral victory with the way the offense performed and the defense not being challenged by the Eagles backups. I don't feel any better about this football after this game than how I felt last week.

100%

Nothing positive happened today.

A loss would’ve been more positive. It takes a bit of critical thinking to see that I know but it would’ve been better then this win.

This was a great moral win for our team which is more important than draft position. It’s all a process.

Go Cowboys!!!!!

Clap, clap.

No, but it least might have brought an inkling of disgust from Jerry Jones and his son.

As it stands now, they are probably basking in the glory of shutting out the hated rival on their home field.

Never ever underestimate how their optimism can be twisted into making them do as little as possible to change.

Change is a bad thing to the pair of them.

Jerry may not seem to be smart, but he is. I don't think he's basking in anything but some Scotch and a couple of call girls.

Here's another "fun exercise". Let's examine the fact that Garrett rested guys headed into the playoffs but exposed every starter he could to injury in a meaningless season-ender that accomplished nothing other than saving his own worthless hide.

But sure, you focus on what people say on the internet and others of us will focus on what inept coaches do.

You mean like Cooper who looks like he might have an ACL?

I have watched every game during the last 42 years. Great, good and bad. I don't get it, why would a fan want to lose to the Eagles for any reason. The city that cheered when Michael Irvin lay on their freaking field and never played again. Some fans come on here and say, I didn't bother to watch or I'm not gonna watch anymore and they expect us to buy their line of crap! To each his own, but I have been around through thick and thin and I never put a bag over my face. I'm a proud fan and I have physically proved it to some in my Wilder days. Today, I mostly get a kick outta reading all the crap that spews out of a lot of us, me including. That said, we're all fans and I respect that! Salud and Happy 2018!!
GARRETT Sucks!!

So now we need a guard since that takes at least a year which would put him back in January 2019!!

WR, guard, LB's, OT, on and on.........ughhhh

Yeah, but if it saves the Clapper & Co., it's all worth it, right?
