This team has plenty of issues to address which, IMO, will only be further ignored if this team meks the playoffs. For me, I'm not sure I want to see this team in the playoffs. Being embarrassed in the first round doesn't seem like a successful season to me.
I know some will read this as bitterness over one of the worst performances in recent memory, but in reality, the deficiencies on this team just get magnified when the stakes are higher. There is nothing which gives me the confidence this team would perform well in the playoffs - and I'm not just talking about players. The Cowboys have had 2 horrible showings in the 2 biggest road games of the year and this says just as much about the coaches as it does the players.
Some here, including me, were excited about the D and anxious to see if Bill could make the same improvemnts on O given another year. But now we see the D collapsing and wearing down and I can only imagine a Parcells O collapsing in the same manner.
Obviuously the D has a lot of young players , but the collapse we've witnessed over the past 6 weeks cannot totally be attributed to rookie fatigue. On O, Bledsoe cannot help a weak OL with movement and the inability to pass protect AND run block is simply amazing.
