I mean, the difference is Godwin’s being Activated because they want him to play on Teams. Hoffman is being activated as an insurance policy

Goodwin won't be playing defense for us. Nothing to worry about..

You do realize that unless someone goes on IR in the next 2 weeks, then someone is going to be released to create a roster spot for him right?

He was on the PS last week too. It is now a 55 man roster -- you can elevate two from the PS each week without having to add them to the 53 man roster. Tons of teams are doing with this trusted vets. They have to go on the active roster after three elevations. CJ is the ST captain, he's on the 53 as soon as we have to put someone on IR.

They can bring up Harlow in place of Hoffman. Don't know what they do about Goodwin yet. They should have put Jourdan Lewis on PUP and it would have bought them at least 4 games for Goodwin and they could still move him to the ps for those 3 bring ups after.

Eventually, Goodwin will be signed to the roster. We signed the other backup center to the practice squad, so we'll likely call him up after we run out of callups for Hoffman. We will wait on Goodwin until a spot opens up or have to release a player we think can make it to the PS.

My choice would probably be Rico Dowdle, unless he does better than average 4.0 the next couple of weeks. My reasoning is that I think Davis could do just as well in that role if Dowdle did get picked up, but I wouldn't expect him to get picked up unless he looks really good in the next couple of games. Alternately, I'd cut Jalen Brooks.

If they released someone I think it would be out of Gallimore, Harper, Igbinoghene, or maybe Luepke. Gallimore would be my choice right now. He still doesn't impress. Harper & Igbinoghene are strictly STs like Goodwin.
