I would rather risk it with one C every week than sign Hoffman to the 53 and risk losing literally anybody to waivers.

Dallas can bring up Hoffman one more time and then Sean Harlow for three more weeks to be the backup center. By then the hope is T.J. Bass is comfortable enough at center to be a gameday option there.

If not the Cowboys can get sneaky and "create" an injury for a player that's usually inactive to create a spot on the 53, like Jalen Brooks or Viliami Fehoku.
