I agree. They just strengthened Android against the collusion efforts of the idiot patent patrol who are trying to bring Android down. Google knows what they are doing here and it strengthens not only Google's and Motorola's position, but the other Android hardware makers too.
Yep, and rightfully so, but they are going to be very hard pressed to reject it since Apple produces both hardware and OS for mobile devices. In all actuality, Google *should* still be in a far better position than Apple in the FTC's eyes since Google *wants* HTC, Samsung, and other hardware makers to continue to create Android mobile devices. Apple is still the only hardware maker for iOS.
