First of all, when I click :forum tools" it just brings me to the bottom of the page. Anyone else have this issue or any suggestions

Then, I just started using Chrome for a test run. Anyone here use it and do you have any must have add on's that I should know about or tips?

Only add on I have is the "google chrome to phone" if you have an Android phone.

I haven't found the need so far for any others but haven't really looked too hard either.

I click on "thread tools" which takes me to the bottom of the page. This is correct as the thread tools are at the bottom left. I can't find forum tools. But that doesn't mean their not there. I'm just a bit blind. LOL

I use chrome and haven't bothered using any add ons. They just slow the browser down.

Probably something to do with javascript engine/support.

Works in Firefox and Opera.
Doesn't work in Chrome or Safari.

It's the same function for forum tools too.

LTR: Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari. IE... meh.

I love Chrome, I think it's much better than Firefox which has become so clunky and buggy that it was unusable for me.

As far as extensions for Chrome, I pretty much only use a few:

Adblock Plus
1-ClickWeather
Facebook Disconnect (Stops Facebook from tracking what pages you browse),
Raging Netflix Queue (Recognizes movie names on pages you browse, and lets you add them to your Queue with a click).

I've got some web developer addons I use as well, but they are only activated at work.

I use Chrome and love the way it synchs my bookmarks, I havent had any trouble viewing this forum with it

No sir. Google Chrome. I imported all my bookmarks into Chrome and now whenever I open the Chrome browser on any PC, I have access to all of my bookmarks as long as I'm logged in and using Chrome.

If I was at your house using your pc I could save a bookmark and then when I got home and opened Chrome, that new bookmark would be there.

I think they have centralized the storage of this info on their cloud and then when you log in, you have access regardless of where you are.

When the internet gets fast enough, the cloud's gonna be awesome (imo)

That's pretty sweet.

I used Chrome when it first came out but didn't see anything all that fantastic.

That was a while back before they had a bunch of add-ons.

Adblock Plus
Chrome to Phone
SmoothScroll > makes a HUGE difference
Hover Zoom > makes most thumbnail images full size just by mouse over
Speed Dial

Those are all must haves for me

TweetDeck for Chrome is great too..I like it better than the regular desktop version.

I have used chrome for 2 years. Its been great and 10 x faster than IE ,and twice as firefox. Wont go back
