Wow .. all the reaching going on. The colts always pick what they want, and they don't fit anyone else. I had Angerer in the 146. McCluster went higher than he want. Arenas went higher than we thought. They were taken by the same team.

Sean Lee is a good good pick. He has some medical issues. Typically Penn St linebackers are 2nd round picks and good players. HE could start next year.

My board is 348 deep. I got 490 total when you got UFAs. I spent 3 months going through all the players with all the teams, so I know all the names.

I think the WR run would have started at 47 and I think we're going to see a lot of them soon. Decker, Sanders, Price, ... as many as 10 WRs in this 3rd round.

Bruce Campbell is the last decent tackle on the board. At the combine I asked people how many sacks they gave up. Usually they answer 1 or maybe 2. Campbell said 5. I think he'll go fairly quick though. He's the last tackle in the draft. Charles Brown fell because he's an underachiever.

McCoy was a high 3 all the long. This is where Tebow shouldve gone , but Tebow has measureables and McCoy doesn't. Teams don't like McCoy's size. For every one Drew Brees you got 10 John Becks.

You may seem team giving up future rounds to get 3rd round picks. This draft falls off the cliff at the 3rd round.

New England jumps around and gets a bunch of mid round picks. I think as long as they stay in the 3rd round they are okay. They got 3 all conference players in the draft so far. The man knows what he's doing. He'll start drafting

The 4th round is bare for safeties. I liked Michael Hamlin a lot as a special teams guy, but he's just a guy as a safety. You got a shot with Stewart and Stuckey in the 4th round.

It cant be true, we have so many GM's here that say otherwise.

Well then, he must be a complete fool who has no sources and is a hack who knows nothing about football.

Is he the best player to be an ILB in a 3-4 though?

I'd love this pick if we were a 4-3 team. But can he be an everydown player in our system?

I have no problem with the Lee pick. Good value at a need position. But it just highlights how bad last year's draft was. If Jason Williams was tearing it up on the practice field last year we don't take Sean Lee in the 2nd round ... much less trade up because we got to have him.

PSU runs a 3-4 a majority of the time

Thats not necessarily true. There are two ILB spots, James isnt as close to the end as Brooking is, but he's geting there. It's possible we have two new ILB's starting in 2011.

Virtually every review says he is totally scheme flexible and could play any LB in either the 4-3 or 3-4. Most think he's an ideal 3-4 ILB.

Gets tremendous marks for his football IQ too

And to be honest, James is no Butkus, Ray-Ray, Singletary etc., so it's not as if he's irreplaceable, so if a young guy can come in and beat him out, it only makes us better.

I'm not worried about his IQ at all.

I'm worried about a guy who looks about 230 max, whatever he is listed at, holding up as a 3 down player who needs to take on offensive lineman on every play. A guy with an injury history to boot.

You don't think Wade knows what he wants in an ILB?

I think Wade makes mistakes like every other person on the planet.

I think this may be one of them. Certainly Parcells, who drafted Carpenter, drafted a whole lot more LBers who succeeded than failed.

Not enthused with the pick either way.

I could swesr Bradie got down to 239 after he slimmed down and oh btw became a much better player...

Wow, I wonder how many time I'll have to say it but since when does 1 injury label a guy as having a injury history. If that's the case I do dare to say that every player in the NFL has a injury history.

He's listed now at 247.

ILB for the Steelers Lawrence Timmons is listed at 234LBS and the previously at SD, Wade had Donny Edwards as an ILB playing at around 228LBS.
