Goose was probably right: second rd talent no better than third

Goose Gosselin said that teams in the second round would find it hard to trade down (or up) because the talent in the third round is about the same as the second. I think Goose characterized the second round as "thin."

Looks like this is true and that this one-sided trade reflects that ... Why would anybody go crazy to trade up to 51 if similar guys will be kicking around tomorrow morning?

This was an absolutely terrible draft -- at least in terms of the first round.

Half these guys drafted in the 1st round this year, wouldn't have been drafted in the 1st two rounds last year.

Gosselin had a good board. He was right about Everette Brown, bulls-eye right. Teams were reaching just like he said they would.

He nailed the 51 pick. He just had the wrong team.


I couldn't believe teams were giving up first round picks to get into the middle of the second round. Shocked.
