Other than the first pick, there hasn't been a pick that was on my wish list. I think all of the players are good players but I thought there were better choices available. However, the more I sip the koolaid the more palable the picks are becoming. Maybe the fact they are now Cowboys and I am loyal to the players that will be wearing the star, the halo effect has taken over.

I think the latter round picks so far could turn out pretty good. Again, I was hopeful for different players but some of these I didn't know anything about. The more I read about them the more relaxed I am becoming. My blood pressure has now dropped down to about 200. Just kidding.

Well I think he'd be right on that. I'd feel much better about those guys, especially Murray, if we'd traded back a little to get them and added another pick or two.

I believe he said on the radio that Thomas and Harris were at or above where he had them so they might gain some points there.

I'm not sure Chapas was picked when he talked but I think he went about right also.

I think Nagy was thought to be a free agent so there would be another negative.

I think the Cowboys are still about -20 so he probably gives them a D+ (I might be generous here)

Goose's system is idiotic (and lazy, probably the real reason he does it that way), because it counts a stretch by 20 on a 6th or 7th rounder as negating the advantage of getting a first or second rounder at +20.

He just doesn't want to have to do any difficult parsing of the data. So much simpler to give out ratings using his monumentally borked method.

I pay very little attention to him after the draft.

Even if you grant that those were all terrible, they are not bad for the reasons Goose uses.

And really, we should only be starting to grade the 2008 draft class right now. Nothing more recent has fully matured.

The only thing Goose is good for is his top 100 final version, the rest of his stuff is all crap the rest of the year (including his draft grades).
