Jerry stated lately that he doubts Jaylon will see action vs. the Cardinals in preseason. Evidently, the coaching staff feels strongly that they want to take things slow with him. It's early yet and there will still be four more preseason games for him to take part in if they permit it to happen. I'd much prefer that they err on the side of caution than to risk injury this early. I think he'll probably see some action next week, even if it's only a series or two.
Yes, I prefer caution also; however, it does not seem like the type of issue that will be any different in a week or two.

Your probably correct and that's my reasoning for thinking it won't be much action for him next week, if it's any at all. I'm pretty sure they want to keep his injury risk to an absolute minimum. Some of us might even be disappointed if he's used a bit sparingly early-on in the regular season.

I may be weird, but the game was the first thing that popped into my mind when I woke up this morning.

Of course, there will be fans who will act like the sky is falling if we lose. Nothing bodes worse for the season if Cooper Rush can't connect with Lance Lenoir in crunch time tonight; after all. (kidding)
