In this market where RB's are way devalued and with a draft that is full of studs?

The minimum wage deals for RB's doesnt seem to be playing out as everyone has been prediciting.

I was told THAT was last season meaning 2012-2013. So I guess when your wrong, you just change the dates.
Know what else I haven't seen? Home town discounts.:)

Gore is signing with Philly, per Schefter.

I do think we are set at RB.

I do think we wont pursue Murray but if we can sign him cheap (4-5 mills) we'll do that.
Otherwise we will draft a 3rd to 4th rounder as competition and stay put.

If it shows that those which we have arent able to handle the load (OTAs, Training camp) we will bring in a veteran. But not right now.

That's just crazy talk.

I dont think Gore has much left in the tank. The depleted eagirls, in my opinion, aint getting better by signing Gore. And him eating up 7 mil of their cap is nto a bad thing in my book. As a Cowboys fan, I like this deal.

I think it's 7 Mil over 2 years, which is pretty much peanuts to them at this point.

Not saying they didn't get worse, but Chip believes skill position players are plug and play in his system. We'll find out I guess.

Gore in Philly? Troy can rave all about him and the genius Chip when he and Joe Buck do Philly games.

If Chip could get Clinton Portis to come out of retirement and join Gore, Troy would be in heaven doing Philly games.

Philly paid ALOT for a guy that has 2 years max left in him. He is running on tired legs and is supposed to run in this fast paced offense? My reaction to that = LOL

I think they got a good deal for him. Thats fine if he has 2 years max left in him, thats where all the money is on the contract. If they get 2 years out of him its great. He has been on the verge of falling apart for several seasons now. Hopefully this is the year the wheels fall off.(from the he's on the eagles perspective, I still like the guy though so it woudl be cool to see him keep going)

With who?

Williams, Dunbar & Randle.

With a 3rd to 4th rounder there is enough competition to find out if there is a RB on the roster who can handle the load.

As i said, if we find out we lack the one we might sign a veteran. Butthat will be not before OTAs.

Would I rather face the Eagles with McCoy or Gore running the ball?

Gore all day. He is a 3 yards and a cloud of dust back. McCoy was a threat to break one anytime her had the ball.

Gore would be a perfect fit with Williams/Dunbar. People have been saying he's done since, what, 2007? lol

He was good last year and could be good this year with limited carries. We're going to have a tough time replacing the work that Murray did in short yardage situations if he walks, Gore would solve that.
