Hall of Fame update
There have been a couple changes in the selection process of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. First, coaches and administrators will no longer be eligible as seniors candidates. So the door John Madden walked through into the Hall in 2006 will no longer be open to other coaches. Secondly, the size of the ballot will increase from 15 to 17. In the past there have been 13 modern-day candidates and two seniors candidates (players whose career have been over at least 25 years). Now there will be 15 modern-day candidates plus the two seniors. That means more hope for more players every January -- and at least two more broken hearts every February.
