Gosselin: "I would expect to see Christine Michael very soon."

I would be surprised if they benched McFadden, which is what it would take.

That's really the only option other than 4 rb's
Dunbar is playing very well and randle is still the starter
Dmac could be the odd guy out if they decide to do it
But not really convinced they will but we shall see

I don't know, maybe we bench Clutts and use one of the TEs when we need a lead blocker. They couldn't be much worse.

I just don't want a quick guy, a fast guy, a power guy, and a 3rd down guy.

That's too many dudes to do what two dudes should be able to do.

Say that last sentence three times fast.

They don't need both Randle and McFadden. Randle, Michael, and Dunbar will do just fine. Michael needs to be active for short yardage and goal line. Then just keep increasing his workload until he proves he is a lead back or proves he isn't.

sometimes the Cowboys are very slow to do the obvious. This offense has no thunder, hammer or whatever term you like to use.

If the Cowboys can't run the ball better than they did in the second half against the Falcons, every quarterback the Cowboys trot out there will have problems -- including Tony Romo.

This is an invalid statement, if Tony Romo was on the field it would open up the run because Atlanta couldn't afford to play single high. The complexity of the game completely changes with 9 on the field.

the issue wasn't the ability to run. it was the ability to pass in this case. its hard to run against 9 in the box. another QB would make a difference, because the defense can't just key on stopping the run and attacking the QB, else they would pay the price. they dared us and we didn't make them pay. bottom line.

We won't. It's going to take an injury to McFadden before Michael sees the field.

How I see it as well, unless they are willing to deactivate a WR and have their spot taken by Dunbar. I would recommend Street, Butler or obviously Whitehead. None of them are especially effective.

No kidding, sure he's had a couple runs stuffed but vs the Falcons he was very good. There really just isn't any room for CM right now.

there is plenty of room for Michael right now. what is so special about mcfaddon and randle. so far those two have done nothing special to make them untouchable. we need an inside runner not a runner who only runs to the outside and draws like both randle and mcfaddon do.

Whitehead is completely useless, not an outside guy and I doubt he's a polished enough route runner to work the slot. You might as well put Dunbar in that role and he'll be more effective.

I really loved the Christine Michael trade, but the one thing that scares me is that he had a tendency to disappear in games in A&M and the big time potential would kind of show up sometimes and go away other times. Of course it's been a while and I could be remembering incorrectly, I just think that was kind of the gist of him.

If your not going to at least try Lucky at PR/KR sit him for Cmike!

3rd and 1

Michael is the only guy I feel good about.

McFadden might be the odd man out.

Or Randle. I'm warming up to the idea of Michaels because what they're doing right now isn't working. When our offensive line can't open up huge gaping holes our backs can't run through any tackles.

I posted in the pre-season that, since they just don't use Dunbar despite wanting to, they should let him go and use Whitehead. Turns out, they ARE using Dunbar like they always said they would, and Whitehead isn't returning either KOs or punts. I guess they must think he has special teams value, but right now, he seems to have only a very limited role. If special teams can manage without Whitehead, then I'd like to see Michael on the game day 46.

I will go a step further. Michael needs to be the every down back. I don't care about Randles 3 td game. Move over Al Bundy.

How much was Randle on the field in the second half? Wasn't he taken out in the second half of the Eagles game as well? Could be remembering incorrectly.

Not sure if it Randle's stamina or if the coaching staff is trying to keep fresh legs on the field throughout the game.

We didn't use Harris right away
Players aren't always game day ready day one
But you get them some reps and work them into the game

weeden favorite targets are RB's and TE's. Why not just go in with 4 rb's and 3 TE's lol Only really need 2 or 3 active WR's to be just there for looks. lol

In all honesty I rather deactivate clutts. He striaight sucks.
