Top 100 out tomorrow. Final Mock Saturday morning.

Galloway: Bryan Broaddus told us earlier that some NFL teams use the Top 100 List because they know Goose has talked to every team in the league.

One team actually asked him for an advance copy of his Top 100 yesterday.

McFadden won't fall past #6.

Better chance that Jerry trades back, even twice, than that he goes up for McFadden.

Saints might be interested in going up to #2 for Dorsey, but cost ($$$) is so high.

Only 21 picks with first round grades picks this year.

Felix Jones is #21 on the list. "If he's there at #22, the Cowboys have a gift."

Teams will be trying to get up to the late 20s for QBs this year.

Jonathan Stewart will have to be traded up for. Both he and Mendenhall will go in the teens. If Stewart gets to 17, Cowboys might want to trade up.

Flowers is a 2nd round pick, though a high 2nd. He'd be a need pick for Cowboys at 28.

Tommy Blake -- I'd be surprised if he gets drafted. Too far to come to rebuild his draft stock.

I'd never have brought in Pacman. Danger is that if he goes bad, he might drag some of the follower types down with him.

me personally would not put Felix Jones on my top 21 players. I agree with Flowers as being a top second rounder, but I still could see Dallas taking him at #28

Goose's final top 100 is on the DMN site as of about 4:45 p.m. today, isn't on the Daily Zone yet as I speak ...

Goose is the new Joel Buschbaum ... both had/have team sources and contributed to the best consensus of the first round, now and then.

Only three, four, five, guys above #22 in Goose's final 100 will fall and be undrafted before the Boys' pick, if history holds. The fun is wondering who these cats are.

I think Jonathan Stewart and Felix Jones will be 2 of those guys who drop to us

And that will happen because some crazy team reaches for someone ranked lower and pushes the others down -- either because they need a certain position or fall in love with a guy.

We should figure out which guys below will be "promoted" by teams picking before us.

My guesses at the top candidates to be available still at No. 22 --

15. Mike Jenkins CB South Florida
17. Jonathan Stewart HB Oregon
19. Jerod Mayo LB Tennessee
21. Felix Jones HB Arkansas

Jenkins might fall because there are several other cornerbacks ranked in the teens. Running backs are prone to falling in the draft. And Mayo could slip just a few spots and still be there. It sounds like there could be a run on offensive linemen, so I doubt Jeff Otah (No. 16), Branden Albert (18) or Chris Williams (20) is still around, but one of them might be.

And the top candidates to go before No. 22 --

22. Aqib Talib CB Kansas
23. James Hardy WR Indiana
24. Kentwan Balmer DT North Carolina
26. Gosder Cherilus OT Boston College
28. Phillip Merling DE Clemson
29. Brian Brohm QB Louisville
30. Quentin Groves DE Auburn
31. Dustin Keller TE Purdue
33. Kenny Phillips S Miami
34. Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma

The first few could go a few spots earlier. I've read that some teams like Cherilus better than Otah and Williams. Pass-rushers like Merling and Groves often go early. Brohm, Keller and Phillips -- the No. 2 QB, No. 1 TE and No. 1 safety -- could go before No. 22 if a team is drafting for need. And Kelly seems like a wild card whom some team just might take much earlier than some other teams would.

Did I say we wouldn't take him?

No.

I said that if we do, we better panic, because our drafts will start going down hill now that Ireland and Parcells are gone.

Who are the follower types on the Cowboys? I hope we don't have anyone idiotic enough to "follow" a guy who is one mistake away from a lifetime ban!

Are you saying that if we draft Felix Jones then are drafts are going to start going downhill?

I am asking because I don't know the history that is involved.

we must be idiots to not have Ray Rice as our #1 back

afterall, he's by which all backs in this draft are measured by, he's Emmitt Smith

it's funny how theo, who couldn't wait to run Bill out of town, is now all of a sudden pining for him

Yeah, after all, look at all those former Titans he took down with him......

Stick to what you know Goose.

There's not too much of it.

I'd love to trade out of 28 for two high twos. I keep hoping ATL goes for a QB and trades up with us.

I'm with you, Adam. QBs, passrushers, and big defensive linemen are all candidates to be taken a little early. Especially big DTs, IMO.

And unless I read it wrong, Gosselin only has Devin Thomas in the top 21. I can see the Skins grabbing a WR even if it is a reach.

Gosselin said there is a pretty steep "plateu" in talent around the 20-25 mark, and everyone drafting after 20 is trying to trade down to get better value. I don't really see a lot of teams reaching in the Top 20. I think it will stick pretty close to the board ... assuming Gosselin's board is as accurate as usual.

I'd still use a 7th on him.

What else you going to do, draft a special teams developmental guy? Yes.

It makes me sad to see Felix Jones' name there. I wouldn't be confident about our RB situation at all and I'd just have to go into the season crossing my fingers that I am wrong about him.
