A few things that jump out at first glance --

-- Anthony Davis ahead of Brian Bulaga.

-- Ryan Mathews ahead of C.J. Spiller, which Gosselin has had all along.

-- Bruce Campbell way down at No. 60.

-- Tim Tebow at No. 67, even though some reports have him in the top of the second round.

By the way, No. 79, Rickey Sapp, grew up as a Cowboys fan and wants Jerry Jones to draft him.

I think Ourlads and a couple our reputable sites are also showing B Campbell more as a 2nd rounder. I tend to agree with that assessment.

Also, Alualu is in Goose's top 32 picks now.

Perhaps he will be the pick at 27 if Iupati, Pouncey, and the top CBs and Odrick are gone.

It seems that if the Cowboys want Alualu as a fall back, they can't trade down too far - maybe just a few picks.

Thanks for the list posting, by the way.

EDIT: Morgan Burnett also looks a bit low in ranking, imo. I think he would be a clear 2nd round pick. I guess we'll see.

And Charles Brown at number 44? A lot of people have him going to teams like GB around the mid/end of the 1st round.

The last 15-20 of his 100 are usually the most shaky. So they are questionable anyway. VERY interesting about Tebow since Goose gets his info from the GMs and company.

Sean Lee and Navorro Bowman in the top 50, with Lee just into the second round. Not optimistic either make it to our 3rd round pick. Surprised he has Odrick at 28 considering all the buzz he's been getting from 3-4 teams. Shocked that he has Demaryius Thomas so high. Cowboys have to be hoping that guys like him and Gresham go before 27 to push someone down. Dan Williams is really high.

Not a lot of difference in talent/potential from #40 to #80, not a lot of 1st yr starters but a lot of guys who can fill a role and eventually be quality (if not great) starters. It looks like one of those drafts where trading down makes sense.

Glad to see someone else think that Tony Moeaki is as good as I do.

Eric Berry #3
Bradford #4
Dez Bryant #10

thats a little different then what ive been reading lately

Look at how high Decker is. A lot of my pet cats are lower than what I though they would be *shrugs* Gosselin is a good source but some of these lower ranked guys he has will go a lot earlier than that. Like burnett and Tebow and Tate (even though he's not that low)

In Bob McGinn's poll of 19 scouts, two of them actually had Lee ranked as the top inside linebacker, ahead of McClain. One had Weatherspoon ranked first, and 16 had McClain ranked first.

That's not where they're projected to go. It's a talent list.

Golden Tate being #41 is gonna piss off a few. :laugh2:

I think I would swap Russell Okung and Trent Williams. I think Okung *could* be better in the long term, (athletically) but Trent Williams is better now and I just think he is more of a football player than Okung.

I'm also not surprised at Spiller / Mathews. When Felix and Chris Johnson came out, I wanted Johnson. Not just because of his blinding speed. He just had something else. I like Spiller, but I don't think he has that same "something else" that Johnson has. Speed alone, doesn't make you a great NFL player. You have to get behind the defense before you go 80 yards. Most teams don't like to let burners do that.

I'm pretty excited about the possibility of landing Odrick in the first round. I think the kid is smart, strong, quick and has a great motor. (motor is what it's about on the dline for me) I think he can come into his own quickly in the NFL. I think he would be the perfect replacement for Spears.
