Got a chance to see and meet Roger Staubach today

Roger Staubach was a guest speaker today at my companies meeting. Being a die hard Cowboy fan, I pretty much knew his story but it was still really cool to see/hear him speak and watch a tribute towards him. He answered a few questions on what he thinks of the cowboys this year and where he thinks they will end up. He said he really likes this team and thinks they will be right in the thick of things this season. Afterwards he even threw some passes to a few people. I tried to get in on it but our CEO had already pre-picked the guys involved. And before you guys ask for pictures I can't post them, because USAA has a strict strict policy on no pictures being taken in the building unless you get a security clearance for it. So y'all have to take my word on this, but over all Roger was a real down to earth guy and he was really appreciative towards all of us at the meeting. The man is a legend and it was an honor to meet him. GO COWBOYS!

I met Roger a few months ago at the San Antonio Airport and I met Moose last week at the airport as well.

Both were very pleasant.

At this same speaking engagement he found out one of the higher ups was a Commanders fan, and he literally asked him (I'm not kidding).

"What? Are you a part of the Taliban or something?" Apparently it made for a very awkward 10 seconds.

He also guarantees that the Cowboys will make the playoffs.

Good for you. I watched him play a lot of games on TV in my younger days.

Oh, I like what he said!!! CLASSIC! I get so tired of folks here in Texas rooting for other teams. The Texans I can see, but the scumskins??? Nah....
