WE sent a bunch of those 286 and 486's we had in storage from work to some charitable group in Africa a few years ago.
They were out in some storage shed for years and one even had an abandoned rats nest that needed cleaned out.:laugh2:
But you know what, almost all of them booted up and the ones that did not we took out the parts and added it to the shipments.
Part of me wondered if any of those computers made their way into the hands of those infamous scammers.:laugh2:
On a side note. I had an old vic20 at one time but had a Commodore 128 for years and finally gave it to someone else maybe 3 years ago. Still had a load of fun games that I would play from time to time. Remember when Broderbund (sp?) software games ruled.:laugh2:
