I got it as a gift from my family for getting out of the hospital for my second stay this year, went in for my remicade treatment had an allergic reaction and it was bad was there tuesday-thursday this week, I have it on Verizon and it's fantastic. I had an iPod touch so it wasn't a transition at all to the apple iOS. If your looking for a phone, get the iPhone the apps are fantastic, games are fantastic and the only problem I have is the battery does seem to drain quite fast but I also have been using it online nonstop and txt nonstop aswell.

Congrats man! If you drop it once, the screen is shattered. That's the only problem I have with the iphone. Good thing you're with Verizon...I don't hear anything good about AT&T.

Love my iPhone even on AT&T.

I got a 3GS...I'm waiting for the i5 to come out.

I'm holding out as well to see what the iPhone 5 offers. If its nothing too drastic I'll upgrade to the i4.

Yea i've been petrified to drop it. I got one of those huge ugly bulky cases to help prevent it breaking, but I got insurance for $10.99 a month, on it so replacing it is $169, not cheap but not as bad as without it.

I've dropped mine a dozen or so times and it's never broken. Just don't slam it on concrete and or be a careless idiot and you'll be fine.

I'd drop the insurance if I were you.

You should enlighten yourself to the whole truth before you post.

Hah. Says the biggest hater known to man. Good one.

I'm with Verizon and am holding out on an iphone until a 4g version is available. I read where Verizon may come out with one as early as June. Anyone hearing the same thing?

3G is more than fast enough for me. Still loads everything virtually instantly.

The iPhone 5 will come out in June. It's unlikely it will have 4G.

Agreed. I can't really tell the difference between when I'm on WiFi and 3G on my iPhone.

I can tell a difference, but its very minor. I only even bother to loadup WiFi on the iPhonewhen I download podcasts/apps.
