After a lackluster end to the regular season, including a forgettable offensive offensive performance against the Commanders, many in the media (and here...including me) said Dallas lacked momentum going into the playoffs.

After watching the Bucs lose to the Giants today, that feeling may have changed. You want motivation? You got motivation: Beating the Giants 3 times in one season!

For all the whiners that said the first game was "almost" a loss. For the whiners that said the 2nd game was a lucky win.

Here's a chance for the Cowboys to go out, and thoroughly DOMINATE an NFC East opponent. Even if it's their only win in the playoffs...what a great win it would be.

I think getting to the Super Bowl is pretty good motivation. Nah.

Are you still hungup on the deadskin game? The one where everything was on the line for them and nothing was on the line for us except getting the game over with and getting out healthy.

The only game that concerned me was the Eagles loss. That left me scratching my head. I never would have guessed our offense would have laid such an egg, maybe the defense, but 6 points from our offense?

The last two games are explainable without TO and I think if TO had stayed in the Carolina game (healthy that is), I think it would have turned into a route.

This team can win it all, I just hope we see the team that beat Philly in the 1st game and not the team that lost to them in the 2nd.

The only concern I had with the Commanders game was that the starters were out there so long that I'd have expected at least one TD. But then, the offense looked vanilla.

But then, as you mention, the Eagles game which didn't look much better (infact, worse). I agree that this offense is very different without Owens. But that worries me because I am still waiting for our other WRs (Crayton, and especially Hurd and Austin) to really show up. They have had their opportunities and have, so to say, dropped the ball.

:D Looking on the bright side, maybe Romo will mix it up some more. I like when we are a little less predictable, and don't put the game on just TO or Witten.

The road to the Super Bowl runs through your back yard.

These changes don't come often.

If that isn't enough of a motivation (who really cares about saying you beat a team three times in a season if you lose in the NFC Championship Game?) then something's wrong with your, er, motivation-maker. ;)
