I've yet to see anyone mention Dowdle...he played a damn good game yesterday. No, this doesn't mean we shouldn't draft running back because that's still a high priority IMO. They apparently won't give him more carries because they don't think his body can handle it. But I'll give credit where it's due. Sucks to do it in a loss but he looked good. And all things considered he's looked good the last few weeks.

He has been decent, Just need the coaching staff to keep pounding the rock.

If we was gonna roll into the season without addressing rb then Dowdle should’ve been the full time starter

He ran with purpose on every down/play. On a normal professional franchise, the other players would feed off of those that give max effort....problem is, we are not a normal franchise

There's nothing wrong with dowdle. Fans that don't know football think running back is the main reason of the 3 why the run game sucks when in reality it's a distant 3rd behind oline and scheme.

The short sideline to sideline passing game really helped open up those gaps inside. You're right Dowdle is someone we need to upgrade for 2025, but no doubt he ran pretty well yesterday when the opportunities where there.

Good point. Opened things up for the run game then then crap stalled out. They had a game plan and it resulted in a field goal then gave up.

Yep, he had a good game. But compare him to Henry, the RB1 who wanted to play for the Cowboys and lives in Dallas. Another stupid move by Jerry Jones.

Rico has been the best runner on this team this year. This really makes starting zeke over dowdle look even more crazy. Dowdle's issues have been health but so far he's been ok in this area.

He averaged 6 yards a carry......him having 75 yards.....him only having 75 yards isn't because of him he should've got more carries.

The fake punt was stupid. Especially at that part of the field. Plus this team isn't disciplined enough to pull crap like that off.

The jet sweep...I hated the call but I get the call. I hated the call because I believe they needed what? One yard? That jet sweep typically works it just looked bad from jump. This team use to be so good at 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1......now its just a mess.

I like Dowdle a lot. Think he’s a very solid number 2 back.
