Rico has been the best runner on this team this year. This really makes starting zeke over dowdle look even more crazy. Dowdle's issues have been health but so far he's been ok in this area.
Well they only started Zeke over him in the opener. Since then Dowdle was the starter when healthy.

Gives you an idea how this season has gone and how bad our running game is when we’re giving props to a back who rushed for 75 yards in a game we lost. He didn’t even have our longest run of the day.
not to mmention the Falcons run D is worse than ours...thats hard to do.....

I've yet to see anyone mention Dowdle...he played a damn good game yesterday. No, this doesn't mean we shouldn't draft running back because that's still a high priority IMO. They apparently won't give him more carries because they don't think his body can handle it. But I'll give credit where it's due. Sucks to do it in a loss but he looked good. And all things considered he's looked good the last few weeks.
Dowdle has been one of the few positives. He's proving to be a decent NFL RB. Ideally a complimentary RB to a frontline player.

Exactly, McCarthy used to blame KM for not running the ball, but he's the problem.
He abandons that run like no other.

KM was a scapegoat he got rid of him for some other reason. Hell i'm not even sure if he did it. He was gone for some reason. Running the football was a dumb excuse to use though.

I like Rico but he is not a big play from happening type like Pollard. He is a solid #2.

This is a mentality I’d like the next coach to have. This team desperately needs to establish a commitment to dominating in the trenches on offense and we’ve lost that under Mike.

I'd imagine you guys would agree with anything I say that's not positive about Dak lol.
Well, this was a post about Dowdle so not sure why you interjected Dak into this

But to your point, I guess I'll have to wait until you say something about Dak that isn't positive. If you ever do, then yes I'll agree with it.

Yes because I've never not said anything positive about him lol. It's all good man the comment wasn't meant to be taken serious. WE agree on Dowdle.

I'm giving Rush a lot of credit for coming in and taking command of the offense. a high percentage of his passes were very catchable. His passes were weren't a bunch of dinks and dunks, they were 20- 40 yds down field which makes everyone wonder why Prescott was so hesitant to air it out. Prescott once again couldn't handle playing under pressure, whereas Rush came in and spit in the eye of his opponent! Put Prescott on the IR for the next 3 yrs!

A few things.

Dak airs it out when they are down 14.

Olsen said it on the telecast I believe the game plan was to use the pass to open up the run. People don’t like it and call it dink and dunk but it opened the run game up.
