He played great....

When it was reported he didn't want to be here, i was like screw him. The fact he is still playing hard for us, and good. Shows me, he's not that bad of a guy.

I always liked his style, he is always in position on deep balls, and pays the ball great.

All i know is, he helped his stock today.

I was glad to see him out there. He looked like he was glad to be out there too!

;)

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I'd love to find a way to resign him. You win in the NFL by overwhelming the opponent at a position of strength.

Lets just pay him under the table, and keep the cap looking good.

Seriously why not JJ got the money

that was a huge deflection on the jackson deep ball.

timed it perfectly.

He had the best game of a Cowboys CB so far this season and that's saying a lot considering how well Claiborne and Carr have played

Right there with you...would love to keep Jenks.

I've been in Jenkins corner this entire offseason, and I know there's a handful of posters who were rooting for him as well. I was happy to see him come out and play the way he did

Wouldn't work.

It can. While Jenkins is an outside guy, both Mo and Carr can play inside. On top of that, we can have a Defensive set where we replace a safety for an extra CB. We essentially saw it today with Carr at FS. Just rotate who plays the S/CB hybrid player from play to play or however you want to do it.

It can definitely work, besides, OScan hasn't played up to his contract.

Same here. Jenkins is a top corner when healthy.

Catch-22. If Jenkins has a good season he'll get a big FA contract from another team to be a #1 CB for them.

The Cowboys can't pay him that kind of money with the investments they've already made a corner.

Why not?

Same here. He gets a bad rep from a lot of posters because of one play, but in all actuality, he is a very solid corner that sacrifices himself for the game. You can't ask for much more than that. I hope he remains a Cowboy.

I think the Mike Jenkins situation is a perfect example of knee-jerk reactions needing to be curtailed a little bit. Just saying.
