MM is still not out of the woods regarding his time management skills....or non skills. Still early and already seen some questionable decisions as mentioned in this thread. Lately, when you win this gets swept under the rug. Let's see what happens against the tough teams coming up. That is when coaching really matters and can lose games for you. Hoping he passes the test.

Calling timeout at the end of the first half on 4th and 3 was absolutely the correct call. They were going to let the clock run and try a hail mary. Calling timeout there should have forced them to punt but they went for it and missed. We take over and complete a quick 12 yarder and Maher gets a shot at a 60 yarder. MM definitely out-coached Dabol there.

That was a dumb *** timeout. The Cowboys needed three things to happen for that call to work - stop the Giants, get enough yards to try for a field goal, make the field goal. For it to go wrong all the Giants had to due was pick up another 7 or 8 yards and kick a field goal. The risk/reward wasn't there.
