Gotta Go All Out in GB

Cassel needs to miraculously score 30. I don't see it barring scores from ST and defense a la Philthy last week at NE.

He put up 27 vs Philly, That may be enough.....no less. Assumes defense of tonight shows up in GB

Commanders didn't have anyone really good to attack the middle of the field. Any team that does will score points on us. With Rodgers precision throws it might not matter but the GB receivers ain't what they used to be.

They lost at home to the Lions, didn't they? This isn't the same GB tame we normally see.

That said, they've had a long rest to get healthy after an unexpected win. And we've got them in GB on a short week. And with Matt Cassel throwing the rock. This game looks like a loss, to me.

But then again, that's why they play the games. A good number of fans thought WAS was unbeatable for some reason this week. Maybe not lose the TO differential so badly and you never know.

Rodgers is missing Nelson. The other receivers are too inconsistent and Lacy continues to struggle.

Rodgers will beat our pass rush a few times by extending plays. Also Lacy can devastate us if they get ahead. We absolutely need our secondary to get an INT or two for once.

When Jeff Heath and Chris Jones account for almost half of the season's turnovers you're in bad shape

Speaking of Heath, I think he was the one who forced DJAX to turn around and then it was his hit that caused the fumble.

I know he gets picked on here but he's been laying the wood this year.

GB Oline is in shambles. The WR corps is not great and can be negated by pressing them. Rodgers also has been a bit off lately. The game is winnable but will require the offense forcing the issue.

Any trick play, surprise onside kicks should be pulled out of the bag. As you say, 4 FGs is going to be an automatic loss

Spread the Packers out on D w/ 4 WRS......and run the football out of the shotgun. Packers will stubbornly stay in a nickle D all night long. They can be gashed in the run game. If there was ever a game where Hardy and Gregory need to show up....this is it. The revenge factor plays in our favor.....gotta get Dez involved early so he doesn't shutdown and then become a distraction on the sideline by running his mouth.

Can't win a FG kicking contest vs. Rodgers & Co.

Staring 4-9 in the face - might as well throw caution to the wind and play to WIN.

Abandon the conservative scaredy cat game plan. Feed Dez often and deep.

Play to win since no one is expecting it.

You can do it for once Garrett.

I'm with you, but I would be stunned if Garrett does anything but stick to his close-to-the-vest, conservative game plan. Tonight's win only reinforced his idea that if he just plays conservatively to keep the game close, we'll have a chance in the fourth quarter.

Sure it's worked one out of eight times!

Hey to be honest, the offense busted out some plays I'd never seen this year. Them reverses and what not (a bit tipsy here) worked rather well.

"Yeah I'm sure this week will be the week Garrett opens up this offense." -every Cowboy fan since week 3

Lou Christie is one of my all time favorites. The Gypsy Cried is still one of my favorite songs. He is still performing haha

They need to take that approach on both sides of the ball. Will be very hard to get to Rodgers with a four man rush. Even top notch defensive linemen need some time to beat their man.

Last time we won a game we thought we can stroll our handy butts and beat Carolina. I'm not making that mistake again. The Packers should beat us with relative ease.

Would you say that the Cowboys went all out last night?

The defense needs to get a flipping turnover or two in order to win against GB. They have been abysmal at that this year.

I don't know if I can remember the last time a Corner picked off the football.

The Cowboy's scouting of the Packers for this upcoming game is already well underway. Early word is the Packers are a much more beatable group than they were last year. I'm very curious to see the game plan that our guys come up with to counter Green Bay. It's going to be a great game that we should have no problem getting motivated to play. If everything turns out right, the Boys could be in first place after this one. Go Cowboys!

If not for Desean Jackson doing one of the stupidest plays in the NFL of the past 5 years, we probably lose.

Conservative game plan didn't win jack.

We got to go all out, I am talking flee-flickers, halfback passes, hook and laterals, surprise onside kicks, fake punt, fake FG, ect.....

19 points is not going to beat Rogers and the Pack, we are going to need probably 30.
