Im just hoping the injury rumors about downs aren't true. Never heard of the other guy but edge was one of many needs in this 2-3 rebuild.

Getting our #1 target at 11 is a home run. He’ll be our field General for years.

Moving up a spot to fend off someone trying to steal him was clutch

Malachi Lawrence is a good pick. He was going to go late in the first according to sources.

9.9 RAS score for Lawrence. 10 is perfect. He’s 25th all time out of 2,100 defensive ends.

Downs was the best player in the draft. They clearly loved Lawrence and shows upside. Had a few others higher, but is what it is.

The rumors weren’t really about an injury but that he might have a long term weakness in a knee that could be a problem down the line.

For what it’s worth’s he’s denied that his medicals match the rumors
