For the people who are more in the know, how did the rest of the NFC east do in the draft?

I don't have buyer's remorse, but not stoked that the Eagles drafted Rasul Douglas. He and Barnett were two of my favorite players in this draft.

The Commanders have have had a couple gifts drop into their laps with Allen and Moreau.

I think the Commanders and Eagles have done great. I hate to say this without letting it play out, but LOL Giants right now.

I'm cool with our haul too, though.

Giants F: Failed to fix their awful Oline again
Commanders B: Allen & Moreau were steals but should've went with Kamara over Anderson.
Eagles B: Barnett was great pick, Jones a stud to redshirt, not a fan of Douglas and I'm a WVU fan

I do not understand what the Giants are doing? I am surprised that Giants did not draft a offensive line to protect Eli, Giants get an F
Both Eagles and Commanders had a good draft, they both get an B

Skins get an A+ just on splash players by name. They had a draft like Andy Reid was famous for in Philly near the end of hs run-famously rated guys or the all-name team. These players sometimes would fail to live up to their PR in the NFL. We can only hope this happens in DC.

I give us a B based on getting players we need that were fairly commensurate with where we drafted in value.
Taco is a bit of aquestion mark still to me: late bloomer or not, I right do not see a 10-12 sack a year guy. I hope he proves me wrong.

GMen are rated a B-. That DL they took on day 2 should have been an OL.

Eagles rate a B-. Could go up later if the injured DB comes back this year and plays well.

Commanders -B+
Eagles-D-
Giants-F

Cowboys A-

That Eagles draft is not as good as advertised.

1stround- Derek Barnett is slow (4.88 forty) and he is a one move guy and he is short and not getting much bigger. Let 4 years go bye and injuries pile up and he is running in the 5.0 or slower in the forty. Who did he really get a lot of sacks on in the SEC?Cam Robinson most bama o-linemen have been busts in the pros..Will Holden Vanderbilt runs a 5.4,Dan Skipper Arkansas runs a 5.4,David Sharpe Florida runs a 5.4,Justin Senior Mississippi runs a 5.5 and you throw in some small schools on the schedule and he looks like a Beast. I am not worried about him.

2nd round-Sidney Jones has an Achilles injury and he might not be the same player. it could be a career ender. The Eagles think they are getting a 4.4 corner they could be getting a 4.7 corner after the injury. Stupid move could have gotten him later.

3rd-Rasul Douglas-I liked him until he ran that 4.59 forty at the combine. One year starter. Good ball skills but speed will expose him.Let Lucky Whitehead go long and see what happens.

Eagles GM just got himself fired

Giants look like a total mess.

1st-Evan Engram- really a TE with no ability to be a blocker. If you look at video at the combine of Evan Engram he has a very scrawny build. No chest,no legs for drive blocking. Hit him hard and see how he holds up.

2nd-Dalvin Tomlinson-is just a big guy who I actually can't remember what is special about him. He is like the Kurt Rambis on a star studded Lakers team. in my mock I didn't have him drafted. Has talent around him

3rd-Davis Webb- Is a twig and his body he will not fill out on his frame . His arm is not as good as he experts say. His long ball is a rainbow not a frozen rope .His ball is slow and in the New York winter his passes will be going everywhere with his weak arm.His offense was a dink and dunk offense at California. He also is slow footed so pass rushers will have a field day getting to him.

Commanders draft is a risk. Both top picks are injury risks.

1st-Jonathan Allen I think is overrated. He has average NFL size and was surrounded by other talented Bama players. I think he becomes Glenn Dorsey at best in the pros. Dorsey had double digits sacks at LSU also and him being stuck in a 3-4 defense neutralized him. I think this happens to Allen.

2-Fabien Moreau-I liked him and had him projected to us,but does seem like he is made of glass. Foot injury and now a pectorial tear. Just have Zack Marton on a sweep take him out keep doing it and Moreau might see more of the sideline than the field.

3rd-Ryan Anderson I do like Ryan Anderson and he could win the OLB job opposite Kerrigan, but Anderson is not fast and he doesn't look like a LB who could run with Elliott on a screen.

Cowboys-I like our picks

1st-Taco Charlton-I kept pushing him over the slow footed tweeners being hyped to us in mock drafts. He is another Greg Ellis or Jason Hatcher,he could also slide inside to DT if needed. What I liked the most is what I saw vs Ohio State. He was unblockable and a beast in that game. He still has upside and hasn't peaked yet. He could be a very dominant player and a regular at the Pro Bowl. Also think of our bookends Taco Charlton & David Irving. that is 6ft-6inches and 6ft-7 inches. You think QBs like Brees and Wilson can see over them? Big QBs will have trouble also.

2nd-Chidobi Awuzie-i like a lot,he is a solid tackler and he can be a very good NFL corner. He is fast enough and fears no one. One drawback is flipping his hips and running deep he gets caught up sometimes, but I do believe coaching can correct this

3rd-Jourdan Lewis-He was the best cover corner at Michigan and a Big Ten All American. If he was bigger they would have been talking of him in the 1st round. He did have the problem with his girlfriend, which he needs to control his off field stuff, but I do think he is a good kid, just got stupid and made a stupid mistake. He should takeover for Scandrick down the road as the nickel

Commanders- A- believe they let the better LB slip by in the second..huge steal in the first. And got my boy Fabian in the 3rd ..just like us with Lewis great value

Eagles- C+. Barnett great pick, Sidney Jones. I don't know.. they really expecting him to play this year? Rasul Douglas lmao good player in college but he's the opposite of what they need at corner. This guy is strictly a zone corner. Maxwell, Rowe all got shipped out because they sucked in that scheme.

Giants D- engram will cause some problems. All the other picks are laughable

Cowboys A- taco Charlton has gotten better every year and played excellent vs top competition. Chidobe hell of a cover corner likes to hit. Can play him anywhere. Jourdan Lewis was a steal in the late 3rd . Sticky coverage only allowed 23 % of passes thrown at him to be completed

I'll leave the rest of the grading to you guys, but let me say this about the Commanders drafting Samaje Perine from Oklahoma. That boy is a beast and a baller. I've seen him break a run and outrun the defenders, even though he was limping on a bad ankle. And trying to bring him down one on one is almost impossible. Trust me, I'm not excited about Dallas having to play against him twice a year.

As much as I love and respect Sean Lee, he'd best get his big boy pants on if he meets Perine head on. That's going to be a major collision.

Giants replaced the Hankins well and added another weapon for Eli. The QB to develop is not a bad move. OTOH they did nothing substantive to help their OL. Eli already started to fall off the cliff last season.

Allen and Anderson will help bolster the Skin's front 7 significantly. Good thing we have a talented OL with athletic OG to handle Allen. I think Moreau is soft and we can run him over with stretches and pitches to his side. Dez will manhandle him. NO QB to speak of and the one they retain is estranged to go along with erratic play.

The Eagles traded Logan and Barwin for Barnett and Jernigan. Pass rush is going to be a wash unless Barnett dominates as a rookie and the Eagles will be easier to run on without Logan as Jernigan was a disappointment in Baltimore. Sidney Jones tore his achilles 6 weeks ago. I won't discount his recovery given modern techniques but he will have less than 6 months post op to the beginning of TC. He is a PUP likely to redshirt. Pumphrey and Hollins are nice weapons to add to Jefferies. Our revamped secondary and Wentz's ability to pass downfield will be tested alike.

Overall, I am not compelled by the Giants and Commanders drafts. While the Commanders undoubtedly improved their defense, their skill positions on offense still provide no real challenge. The Giants simply seem reactionary to what we do and the decline of Eli as opposed to seeking an identity of what they want to accomplish beyond that.

The Eagles will provide the biggest challenge given the weapons they have on offense. They are a bit one dimensional as I am not convinced by their interior OL talent and really like the matchups -particularly with Irving- we will get inside. Peters is 35 and already on his decline. Johnson is a quality player as well on the outside. Sproles/Pumphrey scat back types don't concern me with Lee and Jaylon to cover them. OTOH Jeffries, Ertz, Hollis and Matthews could provide Wentz with the weapons he needs provided he is capable of reading downfield and making consistent accurate throws which he has not demonstrated to this point.

Not very impressed by any. The Skins have the highest upside, but major bust factor.

Eagles I don't like. Barnett was a great pick, but I don't like Jones to return from injury.

Giants? Not sure. Engram was a great pick, Tomlinson too. But they had major needs elsewhere

I think the Commanders had the best draft on paper, but I think all the teams were pretty close to each other. I think the Giants didn't improve their weaknesses much and if Webb is not their future, they still have a huge hole after aging Manning. The Eagles took a gamble on JOnes in the second round that I probably would not have done.

It doesn't matter now. Now we get to see who can actually play.

Douglas is a bad fit in the Philly system. He'd have fit better here.

Thank you! He's the perfect fit here. In Philly he's going to get torched. He was inconsistent in man coverage in college.
