Grade the Donovan Ezeiruaku pick

I’m convinced and a little gutted with 49ers taking Collins at 43. Really thought he was the pick and why there was so much conversation/debate when they got on the clock

Most everyone wanted to move down to get a 4th round pick. But Will McClay started talking about Ezeiruaku being high on their board and Whitecotton also "stood on the table for him".

Ranked second in the FBS with 16.5 sacks, third with 20.5 TFLs .. his game is ascending and getting significantly stronger every year.

15 sacks at the FBS level of competition says he is adept at rushing the passer ..at the very least, he could be a Dante Fowler type - automatic 8-10 sack guy in packages/situations.

It's hard to find top notch pass rushers . We may have a real steal here.

Almost like what they wanted Randy Gregory to be. This guy isn't quite as fast, but he plays that fast.

Bonafide stud. High FB IQ. It was thievery that we stole him at 44. This guy could have been a mid 1st.

This is arguably the best pick of the draft for us IMO. He was a late 1st for some.

His pass rush bag and ability to keep OTs hands off his chest is absolutely nuts IMO.

A lot of us liked Laitu (spelling it right last year) and he’s just as advanced IMO. Just doesn’t have the same size that most NFL teams love but he’s better against the run than most dudes his size.

We didn’t get a Robin for Lamb but we got one long term for Micah.

If Kneeland grows you have alot of versatility and talent in your edge defenders. He (Kneeland) was good enough coming out to where he can absorb Lawrence run down snaps now
