I give JJ and the Boyz a B right now. You have to assume the Deware deal gets done, he ain't going anywhere. Love the cuts (yeah I am a TO fan but I am so sick of hearing about him), Roy, Tank and Pacman were no brainers. The Kitna trade was bold and a good move to dump a guy we were going to cut anyway, Brooking and Igor signing was huge - both will be impact players. If we can get Burnett back in the fold and maybe sign Holt if/when the Rams cut him this will be a solid off season.

I know this is an optimistic post but the off season program and draft just around the corner I finally got over my bitterness of the Eagle loss this week. I am OFFICALLY FIRED UP!!!! Go boys!:starspin

Brooking -- C
Stewart -- D
Igor ------ Jury still out
Kitna ----- B

Averages out to a C

Solid B

A couple subtractions from the secondary that were needed but I'm curious to see how they are filled.

B+
Igor and Brooking wont be super impact players but steady players which is what we need. We need more army ants as leaders on this team.

I'm more thrilled about Igor then I am about anyone we have let go or brought in.

I disagree with the incomplete straddlers..if you want to grade a draft class immediately after the draft and give an incomplete I can understand. However, with free agency, holes, proven, players, and $$$ shelled out, I for one believe that is more than enough to provide a grade. My opinion is as follows: A+

A+

Cutting TO and Roy and bringing in leaders like Brooking and Olshansky have all been great moves. I love it. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted from this team with TO gone. Man what stupid mistake he was.

It's getting to be fun to be a fan again. There is hope now. I think Jerry gets it.

dont really see why a guy signed to a minimum wage deal to backup at various LB positions and play special teams warrants a "D"

because gimme does not know who he is, so he cant warrant a grade higher than a D. At least that's what he is thinking.

Incomplete...

Draft will tell the tale..
Sign me up for this. I'm not ready to give it a grade until I see who we add.

It's not so much about grading the draft, but addressing the needs of the team thru the draft and making solid choices.

Meaning we should have very few head scratching picks...

+ cutting out the cancers (TO, Roy, Pac, tank)
- keeping wade
- keeping jason
- firing reeves

jerry has done the absolute bare minimum this offseason to keep any interest of fans on the field. all reactionary moves to bad decisions by him. reparigin damaging from his own self-inflicted wounds.

unfortunately our pathetic coaching staff is intact & reeves was shown the door over timecards.

No Tank
No Pacman
No TO
No Brad Johnson

That is a damn good start to the off season right there. Addition by subtraction.
