Yeah we get a full year for a guy but we also got a 6th back, don't forget ,and a full year of his services ,and we can franchise tag him ,and or we could get a comp as high as a 3rd round pick..hmmmLike I mentioned, a BIG part of this is does he get an extension, cuz he only has one year left….a 3rd and 5th for a 1 year rental possible? It’s not just the diva aspect, it’s giving up those picks for someone who might not even be there in a year. If they sign him and he doesn’t quit on the field again, then yeah, it could work out well due to his talent….but there ARE what ifs…..there was a reason Pitt traded him in the first place.
in the end it could be a wash or we could have our future wide receiver, why worry about it ?
you sound like a diva that's for sure,
a lot of people in here could be labeled a diva there's a lot of negative whining crying fans at nothing ever is going to satisfy them and I would say that's a diva this is basically your Terrell Owens or Dez Bryant or George Pickens on the sideline screaming and crying because you're not getting your way,
you get it look in the mirror...lol
I love that this guy's in a contract gear and that he has to earn it you always get your best so at the very least we're going to get a man possessed and have what we've been needing for a long time he's elevating our entire offense even Dan" cowboy hater" Orlovski Said this trade was great for the Cowboys people are calling this a mega tray it's substantial but he's saying this just turned the Cowboys offense into something has been needing for probably five years now and it elevated our team from being talked about as fringe probably not making the playoffs to a playoff contender literally with one move that's all you should be happy about this team right now the entire offense looks better because of this those guys now that were possibly going to be the WR2 and WR3 are now WR4 and WR5 some dudes are going to lose their spot or the team because of this but it makes our entire offense more potent harder to stop harder to read..
That is what we need right stay in the year stay in this year you don't own the team you don't have stock you don't have dividends doesn't doesn't matter what happens in 2026 all that matters is we now have what we needed most it even elevates the draft because they didn't get their wide receiver they promised us 1 they gave us 1 this isn't just an Amari Cooper move this isn't just bringing in Keene and Allen this is a whole nother level.. Those guys could have been OK options at number two but they weren't much better than Tolbert that's a fact..
This guy is a true 1B he's a guy that now gives us guarantees of something happens to lamb for a stretch he could be the starting receiver.. You know that's all that matters right that he's here this year so 2025, The Dallas Cowboys just elevated their offense if you think about now with Jayden Blue giving you juice out of the backfield lining those two wide receivers up with terpene in motion and Jayden blew out of the backfield that's a pretty nice lineup i'm not saying you do that every time but you you want goal line you get inside the 30 you roll that out and see what teams are going to be looking like who we going to stop and we're not even adding in if our tight ends like Ferguson elevates his game this year it gets better but these are some moves that were needed and they happened and some of you just trying to find a negative in it who cares about 2026?
I surely don't I don't even if I'm going to be alive I don't even know if the Suns going to come up and Earth is going to exist in 2026 but I do know right now I'm loving this move
